How to Get Stereo Mix

When I open 0017, I get three folders. Disable, Drivers and Settings. The only expandable one is Drivers. None of the three have 'filter' in them.

Thanks for the video, unfortunately it doesn't seem to apply for my XP machine. When navigating the registry paths after getting to 0017 and 0005 (in my case both were expandable), there was no folder path to follow anything close to setting/filter/rear. Any thoughts?

When you say "expand the 0015" the only one I have is "0000", it's says "GlobalSettings" instead of Settings, and I don't have any "filters" but "rear" is "RearLineIn" and there is only one folder named "Node000". Any ideas?

You other guys if it doesnt work for you, update your XP sigmatel drivers first, then use the pause button a lot in this vid, then make tripple sure you in the right folder in the reg, at first It didnt work for me and I found I was in 0028 that had settings/rear as well... had to go back and get in 0005 and there were filter/settings/rear !!!! added and edited the binaries like he says and BAM !!!

I have a pretty strange problem, when im inside the 0017 (my expanding one) there is no folder called setting, but i do have branding and drivers, even though none of them leads to the folder setting, checked nr 0005 too which also expands. In 0005 there is a setting folder, but it doesn't lead to a filter/rear folder what to do? (xp 32-bits)

@jajanneh try going to sigmatel web site and update drivers for xp, then restart and go back to registry and try again, make sure your in the right 1000 digit folder inside of the reg as well.

what i had to do with my dell XP, was to download the LG Sigmatel soundcard drivers + follow all the instructions in this video, if i tried following the instructions only it wouldnt work because enableinputmonitor wasnt there to be edited, and creating it didnt solve the problem, FUCK DELL & FUCK APPLE, fucking scumbags trying to hold us to ransom => POWER TO THE PPL !!

a driver is a software that helps your hardware run with your OS. You should have recieved a CD with your computer that contains all of the necessary drivers, but if you cannot find the CD, try google searching your computer model, your version of windows (XP Professional, XP Home Edition, etc.) and your sound card type. find and download the driver installer and install your driver, good luck
