The shot over Craig Ehlo in game 5 of the first round of the 89 NBA Playoffs. Both ended up being game and series' winners. The one in the commercial is at the buzzer, the one you're thinking of in 98 was with some time left on the clock...I think John Stockton missed a 3 as time expired.

@jbs579 No, the one shown here is "The Shot", which was the championship winning shot over Byron Russel in 1998. In 98, Jordan hit the shot then right after, jumped into the air and punched it the same way.

Actually, I researched it a bit and it seems you're correct. Both shots look exactly the same, and were pretty much the same, I didnt realize Ehlo flying past Jordan instead of Russel falling away from him.
