Hi. Could you explain me how did you manage to make the effect of the last falling piece of bar ( I don't know how to call it )? I want to make that effect whit LED's using an Arduino.
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaouh ! hello, it's perfect ! very nice !!!!!! I'm really interested in your achievement. can you give me the schematic and library or source code for atmega?
@proprorieder68 You have good english! Anyway, since this guy is using a PIC this project will not work at all on an ATMega... you would have to start from scratch. Personally, I think it's much easier to do the calculations/analysis on a computer and then send the processed data over the UART to be put on a screen or LEDs or whatever.

Amazing, we would like learn too how to make this !
Who cares to see a FFT of an audio signal if you didn't provide anymore explications or source code ?
OK we learnt with your videos that we can do it with a PIC microcontroller but we expects a little more.

Awesome!!!
Didn't you use a DSP? I didn't know that a PIC have a fast enough ADC to preform a Fast Fourrier Transformation...

in real time...you sample with another ic...

Would it be possible to create this on a 16F627 pic?

Would love to find out more about this project. Do you have a schematic for the circuit?

How do you sample the audio signal? Internal ADC? Or is it just an animation?

how big is the circiut?
is it hard to make one?
Sebbl3 3 years ago
Its fast. It looks small thats why I thought it was 16 * 2 and you were doing custom characters, also theres 32 bands.

pretty cool. Is it a 16 X 2 lcd?
mdmde 3 years ago
Nope, it's a "solomon goldentek" graphic lcd 128*32 pixels. pretty fast huh?
