  • wat is this song ????

  • keep it up neighbours long live pakistan china friendship............

    good luck brothers

  • wtf~~~~this is always chinese car.

  • wtf? 550? this ain't no bimmer 550i!!!

  • wow that cool

  • China can do good things, especially by copying others.

But they need to do good things to the Chinese people, like paying an appropriate salary.

  • @spliffthedog

Becuase the rest of the world doesnt know shit about cars, or good value and quality for the money.

The rest of the world is just after the badge but theres a reason why Jaguar has problems in more sophisticated markets like the US.

The answer=QUALITY. Jaguar has very low quality and durability in the US, and on some rubrics its nearly at the very bottom. However, their quality is improving.

  • @smokefreak2006 and you would know? good value YES because everything is copied! no imagination and soul in design!

Jaguar does have reliablity issues but you buy a jag for its style... just like you would buy a Gucci bag insted of a nike. Does this mean a Gucci bag is 20 x better quality?

  • @smokefreak2006

Not sure i agree with calling the american market more sophisticated.

also i don't consider the comparison between lexus and jaguar to be entirely fair - they're not selling the same thing. Lexus strikes me as a car for the eminently practical who wish to be pampered - essentially a toyota with a lot of extras thrown in. The lexus is closer to BMW. They prefer numbers and data sheets - whereas the jag centres toward emotion, craftsmanship and the sense of occasion.

  • who sings the song

  • Thats how far the Koreans are ahead of the Chinese. 40 years ago when they brought their cars over they got laughed at (JUST LIKE YOU DO TODAY), and their cars were so low quality they couldnt pass our tests.

It took them 10 years to have cars ready enough to sell in the US. You started talking about selling cars here in 2005, so I say you wont be ready for another 5 years, and with the increased safety standards here it might take 5 more years on top of that to even catch up.

  • As an American I wonder.... Why are you Chinese so Racist about Korean cars built in China using Unskilled Low Quality Chinese Workers?

Especially When Korean cars win all kinds of American Awards have top reliability here, and you Guys arent even Allowed to Sell your own cars here in America becuase they are such POS.

They are Chinese cars including this SATC Roewe are UNSAFE Rattletraps that arent evenraod worthy for our standards here. The Koreans had this problem 40 years ago!!!

  • @smokefreak2006 Just curious, r u Korean American?

  • @cismok No, actually he is right whether he is Korean American. Latest reports prooved that they have the worst quality control in the luxury market. Nontheless, i love Jags, especially XF~ But back to the SAIC topic, i did not know SAIC was joint project between VW and GM in Shanghai. So where does the money goes? And yes, They look like the shit compared to Geely who wants to be a luxury big boy who wants to go after AUDI and the others. They sure do have potential by looking at this car.

  • @chltmdwp The SAIC is short for Shanghai Automobile Industry Corp. It is a independent company but has formed JVs with VW and GM separately. Anyway, the build quality of VW Passat, Tiguan or Buick LaCrosse by SAIC are good as other places, I've tried cars built in different countries.

Why Geely would like to expand overseas, because it ranked in the last, for market shares in China left by Big 5 Auto corps.

The money to SAIC, it is a SoE and listed company, so money never be a problem 4 them

  • @cismok The car industry in Asia is a bit different with N.America, at least different with what's showing on TV. The news networks only show what may attract broadcast popularity rather than the truth of the market. So do you believe GM the 3rd best seller in China with 1.5 million cars sold, but the car designs are different with that in US. To be frank, car is close to life and people's attention, but this industry is not good for investment as the profit is that thin, only volume to beat

  • @cismok No matter how luxury it is, if the sales volume times profit is low, the firms to be bankrupt. In recent decades, the auto industry's gross profit per car slides, and sales of luxury cars is limit after all. Only way to make auto manufacturer survival is to increase sales.

Economically design, build and sell cars fit for most people at reasonable prices is the headache for most car companies than how to make it luxury. That's the secret how Japanese makers' successful in the past years

  • @cismok Good for them

  • @cismok

Why would you ask such a thing?

  • Shit... looks better than Malibu. I actually like the design. Wonder how the relibaility goes.. and i won't support Commus.. that's for fact.

  • @chltmdwp SAIC is an operator of two joint ventures of Shanghai VW and Shanghai GM. SAIC is one of big 5 automobile corps in China with 52 years of history, 2 million cars has been produced last year by SAIC.

This company's totally different from the other small boys like crappy Geelys, it is a listed company with billions of free cash on hand, and has a full system of design and engineering. The operation covers the entire value chain and ranked as premium suppliers for VW

  • Hyundai has better reliability than Toyota now buddy #1 in mass market manufacturers, 4th place overall..

And we will be a Luxury company one day.

  • @smokefreak2006 No,it won't

Not with that name,it spells "we eat dogs"

Lexus is trying very hard to be a luxury company, and the name is much more agreeable

  • Well, and your Racism against Koreans is not even worth responding to.

Lexus is a Luxury Company. It makes better products than Jaguar, and I hate Lexus and Im saying that.

  • @smokefreak2006

    I own a korean car so i don't see where's the racism,really.

Taste is not something you can buy,so i won't even bother to debate this issue with you.

Enjoy your future hyundai luxury products, like the brand new equus(....my god)

  • if lexus makes better products then jag why are there more jags in the rest of the world

  • koraen shiit cars doesn't last long, I never own a korean shiit, but from people around, they sucks, only peoplel in your capital, the Han-city, enjoys those shiits

  • HelloW... waiting for you to give you numbers :)

  • The things are simple: The target of Chinese Automakers is selling 'cheap cars' (as usual with Chinese products), but If they try to sell a car a bit more expensive than normal for 'new automakers' they people simply will choose another automaker (not Chinese). Especially because China is related with 'bad quality' and I don't think it will change... they won't be reliable, for sure.

  • Anyway, yes, korean cars are not that bad, but they tried to start as 'good cars', not like Chinese automakers, laughing at people with no-safe cars... trying to sell those cars in 'intelligent markets'... that's why now they even copy the structure of cars to make them safer... Ridiculous...

  • LOL! dude, Hyundai is not longer what they used to be 5 years ago. You said Korean are not that bad, but now they are nothing bad, taking in consideration all the awards for engines, safety and reliability obtained by Hyundai lately. Toyota is just fame, a fame they got when they used to be a good car maker, now they make boring overpriced cheap cars. While japanese car makers got low sales due to the econmy, Hyundai numbers were green and increasing. Try to be informed before saying anything!

  • @wtrdogg20 Toyota just 'fame'? Hahaha? I want to laugh, men... I'd like to see how you read 'ADAC' from Germany and after that... try to say the same, ridiculous... and now throwing rubbish, god, (30 YEARS TOYOTA being the best automaker in Europe) Awards from what? They just copy all the time the engines, (example, the pathetic variable distribution, bad copy from another, of course) , and besides that,... we are talking about Chinese cars, not Japanese and Korean... hehehe :) Overprice

  • Toyota good sales in Europe???? LMAO!!!! dude, you are a freaking fanboy....Toyota is NOTHING in Europe....Hyundai has way more acceptance and presence in Europe than Toyota, at the point they have factories in Europe and all their new models are designed in Europe.....Please recheck you information, be objective, not a FanBoy.....And about the chinese cars, well, they have a long way to run, so there is not much we can say about them.

  • @wtrdogg20 'Hyundai has way more acceptance and presence in Europe than Toyota' This is objective? And Toyota doesn't have designs from Europe? Examples: Auris, Avensis, iQ... sure they are not from Europe? And Toyota doesn't have factories in Europe? Haha, men... who has to recheck the information? Even in Portugal they have a factory, ignorant... hahaha And babe ignorant. Do you know ACEA... Toyota is there and I don't think Hyundai is also there... Europe declare Toyota as European automaker

  • are you always like that, 8 messages to say the same thing 10000 times....dude, grow up...you are just a FUCKING FANBOY!!....Toyota is in Europe, but doesnt have the acceptance Hyundai has. Face it....the only Ignorant worshipper minded here is you. Just think about what you said, All new Hyundais are designed in Europe....TOYOTA IS SHIT...JUST FAME, FACE IT. Avensis?, Auris?, iQ,? Those cars are very boring dude.....For the price, you get way more car from Hyundai than from Toyota....

  • @wtrdogg20 And now yes... Toyota is in Europe? And not the same 'acceptance'... but what are you talking about... hahahaha. Who is 'fucking fanboy little flower'? :P

  • @wtrdogg20 And apart of that.. try to read WIPO and those things and try to check what happen with the most of patents from Hyundai and its conflicts... Please, don't throw rubbish on third automakers and let's talk about this shit of Chinese automakers.

  • My chinese friend, IDK where the hell u r getting that weird info from, but if Hyundai had patents in conflict, most of their model could be out of the market. When Toyota got that problem for real with BMW, they had to discontinue the Tercel and Corona, after they copied most of the car chasis design, it was too obvious. FYI, the CVVT valving system from Hyundai is very good, now tell me Nissan NVT, Mitsubishi MIVEC or Suzuki VVT also copied Toyota, LOL, who wants to copy Toyota?, Please.....

  • Comment removed

  • @wtrdogg20 Copy the Chasis design? But men... what are you talking about? Even BMW wants to know the design of the chasis of Toyota IQ... and what about MIVEC, VTEC... the same as Valvematic from Toyota? Hahaha... please, men... try to be a bit less ignorant... and another thing... tell me the difference between an VD VVT from Toyota and the CVVT from Hyundai... if you find some difference, write... hahaha. Ignorant... Am I a fanboy... sure? Hahaha...

  • @wtrdogg20 And now... you will say something about 'awards'... of course... no-bad car, cheap. Hyundai in Europe, ignorant (I'm European)... what's happening with the commercial cars from Hyundai? Haha... they are not just a shit, but the comsuption is even worse than before (Hyundai H1 and others)... and little men... about reliability... there is nothing which can say they are... and obviously they are not that reliable (ADAC from GErmany), except some model. Ignorant!

  • @wtrdogg20 And ingnorant, another thing... in Japan Hyundai... during eight year couldn't sell more than 800 cars/month, however, Toyota, the first three weeks sold 5000 cars in Korea (and Toyota is in Korean since November 2009). What's happening with the SONATA from Hyundai and the Camry from Toyota (and curiously the Toyota is more expensive) Korean people is not ignorant, and you are... :P

  • Sonata vs Camry....just check the numbers again......OVER 5000 CUSTOMER WAITING FOR THE NEW SONATA, in PRE ORDER, just in Korea.....dude, dont be that ignorant and fanboy....Off couse Japanese people will reject product from Korea, dumpass....Japanese also reject Lexus and Infinity because they know those are not luxury cars, they are just wannabes. The numbers and awards speak by themself. Toyota is not longer what they used to be.....I am not gonna waste my time with an idiot like you.

  • @wtrdogg20 ... this is ridiculous, men... well little boy, do what you like and again, as I told you, try to be informed... At least I know you are just an ignorant... Try to read 'numbers', ignorant... and again little flower... Japanese really don't care about the history, believe me, haha. Did you check what I wrote? I think... you even don't know what's an engine, or ADAC, or ACEA... hahaha... stupid little flower...

  • you are ridiculous!.read, and read carefully, fucking idiot!, LEARN TO READ THE NUMBERS. Check the ADAC AND ACEA numbers, check the list of the 25 best seller cars in Europe, By run rate, Toyota is in 7th position in 2009, but they lost share market in -4.7% in relation with 2008 (they lost -11.8% in 2008), so they are going down, while Hyundai is the 14th, but with 26.6% more share market than last year, so who is going up and who is going down? And with VW as the real king, Toyota is shit!

  • @wtrdogg20 26.6%? Hahaha... the share market? But man... really... I'm a bit worried now... What are you talking about? 26.6%? Are you inventor...? Hahaha... I really don't know from where you have that information... 'increasing is not share market', ignorant...

  • LMAO! you check the ACEA numbers but you just see the numbers plain!, you dont know how to ANALIZE THEM!! Dude, I am not going to waste my time with you.....Please learn more about how the numbers explain the market flow, then talk to me.....After 30 years of Toyota, you wont see the kingdom going down in one year, but you can see things not going well like before by checking the relative numbers. Google it, while Toyota got red numbers, Hyundai got green numbers during the last Quarter of FY10

  • @wtrdogg20 Oh... and now it depends of the analysis... haha... really, man... you are losing your papers... hahaha...

  • @wtrdogg20 Man, really... you even don't know what means 'ACEA'... haha... Man... read about what I said, please, ok? :) Don't waste my time with rediculous and no-sense explanations if you even don't know what are you talking about... :) Little flower...

  • yes, I know what is ACEA idiot, and the numbers I am talking about are coming right from them. the thing is you dont know how to read them, but anyways....I just realized you are a little kid making things up and saying your daddy is a Hyundai CEO, is he Korean? or from Czech Republic? LMAO!!! or from US hahahahhaha...I dont recall the names now, but I am sure is one of them LOL!!! Whatever kid. Toyota is a good brand, it used to be way better, but now is OVERPRICED AND BORING, END OF DISCUSSION.

  • @wtrdogg20 Ohh... at last you read something about ACA, hahaha... Man... little flower... I said that about CEO because you said that stupid comment about 'Japanese man told me that'... then... I just said 'oh, yes, and my father is CEO'... you are ignorant... that's all :) And I liked that... Try to read a bit more... now... ADAC... haha

  • Comment removed

  • @wtrdogg20 And... what happened about the numbers? You really don't know what's ACEA yet, right? Haha...

  • Comment removed

  • @wtrdogg20 And more 'numbers', ignorant... Hyundai not more than 2.2% of the market share in Europe (Toyota 4.8%) Hyundai increased that number (1.7 in 2008) because of the prices (it doesn't mean 'quality', ignorant)... Toyota lost the 01% because of south of Europe (because of countries specially affected for the crisis, which helped to Hyundai (prices))... something else about numbers? Please, try to be informed before talking, ok?

  • @wtrdogg20 Man... my father CEO?; haha, it's funny... I don't know if you speak more languages (I don't think so... too silly) but at least I do it little flower and if you even don't know how to get the sarcasm after saying that about 'that Japanese guy'... it's really sad, eh?... Well,.. do you have more numbers?

Or... another things, who says I want to insult? :) Night night... :)

  • @wtrdogg20 The numbers and awards... yes... that's for Toyota, right? Little flower, currently Toyota is together with Honda the automaker which invert more money for investigation... and little flower... do you know since when is Lexus in Japan? Hahaha or Infinity? You are just an ignorant... haha... well... seeing what are you doing... all the time online, I even don't think you have studied much... I leave you alone... babe fanboy... hahaha

  • Dude, I know where Lexus came from, FROM COPY EVERYTHING FROM BMW AND MERCEDES.....you really know nothing...and BTW, what kind of insult is that little flower?....you sound stupid saying it...LOL!! and about that thing I said about Lexus, well A JAPANESE MAN TOLD ME THAT.....He was very clear when he said TOYOTA IS NOT BAD, BUT IT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO HAVE THE PRICE THEY HAVE, AND LEXUS, DUDE, IT IS A LUXURY WANNABE COPIED FROM EUROPEAN CARS. I didnt say it, the Japanese said it.

  • @wtrdogg20 Haha... and my father is CEO from Hyundai, and he told me that... well... first of all, read what I said before... I like how you try to avoid what I write... ADAC, ACEA, NUMBERS, FACTORIES, DESIGNS... and about number, babe flower...: (from the beggining of the crisis) just lost the 0.3% of sales (not share market, ignorant). Anyway... I like your attitude... hahaha

  • OH FUCK!!! NOW YOU ARE GONNA MAKE THINKS UP, hahahahahah your father CEO from Hyundai!! HAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH.......NOW I REALIZED I AM WASTING MY TIME WITH A 15 YEARS OLD KID!!! HAHAHAHAAHHA...WHATEVER....NOW YOU LOST ALL KIND OF ATTENTION FROM ME......FUCK OFF, LITTLE BOY!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAA....NEGGA, PLEASE!!!! C'MON SON, GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE WITH THAT BULLSHIT!!!

  • @wtrdogg20 well A JAPANESE MAN TOLD ME THAT.....He was very clear when he said TOYOTA IS NOT BAD, --> That's why I said that, hehe... You know what's sarcasm? Hahaha... ridiculous...

  • @wtrdogg20 Well little flower... just try to read something about what I said before, ok? Then, try to talk to me... and really, you should sleep a bit more... I feel you like... a bit tired... too much computer... inventing things... :) Real numbers --> Truth, man... :)

  • @wtrdogg20 Anyway, if you talk about 'marketing', yes,... I have to admit that Toyota's marketing is the worst in this world... hehe... but read why KIA (Hyundai) had to sell cars with 7 years of warranty (with a lot of *)... :) Anyway, was nice to discuss... I like it :)

  • Like Mitsubishi and other brands from Japan....IF YOU DONT TRUST YOUR PRODUCT, HOW YOU CAN GIVE A LOT OF WARRANTY???.....If toyota is ok with 3 stupid years, well, keep buying OVERPRICED TOYOTAS AND BE A REAL FANBOY.....JUST BECAUSE A NAME....LOYALTY WITHOUT QUESTION. hahahahahahahaha.....You are so funny, PANSY!, not little flower, you fucking idiot with fucked English.....

  • @wtrdogg20 Again, just read a contract of those 7 years... haha... Anyway... I really like your attiude... ADAC, ACEA, Numbers, FACTORIES, DESIGNS, SHARE MARKET... haha... A small kiss little flower!

  • @wtrdogg20 At least you even have less knowledge... you sure Mitsubishi Motors is totally Japanese? Controlled by Japanese?

  • I think people lack semblance of reasoning - yeh may be at first it all started that the Chinese were making a complete resemblance of another known cars. They're inexperience & their ideological tactics doesn't work. However if you browse carefully of other Chinese cars, you'll realise that there are original designs that you've never encountered. Obviously helped was offered by many known car companies to build original Chinese cars. I think its a good start for Roewe 550, I like it.

  • This is freaking fast to!

  • volkswagen passan????AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Is a copy of volskwagen passan & opel insigna !!! like ever chinese COPY !!! people whitout soul and imagination

  • What ?? Have u ever driven it?Donot Bull-shit_ing here. Have a look inside and drive it before u make comments. Do you really know what is soul ? lol

  • i have drive it ! are a tous !!! try to drive a real car !!! mustang, porsche, camaro !

  • I chinese car that doesnt look a copy of other models. I took a look at this car personally a couple of day ago, it was parked at the a supermarket parking lot. It was in black, no tinted windows (it looked like very new), so I was able to see inside. Very nice for what I noted, and the exterior looks great. I may need to check who is selling that car in my country.

  • Yeah, people used to say the same think about Korean cars, and now Hyundai Genesis is North American Car of the Year, and all other models has awards from professional car reviewers like JD Power or Motor Trend. Chinese car maker must have the same chance.

  • @wtrdogg20 And who said Korean cars are good? Hahaha... They even copied the same quality control from Toyota with Shibuya in 2007... do you remember that? Hahahah Please, try to be informed before saying anything... hahaha

  • damn thats beautiful

  • Oh yea this is the reason why jobs are shiped to china righ now like former engineers from Rover and so on to make business over there :)

  • Holy shit that car can drift! That car better be safe

  • This car if officially made in China

  • Growing up. I recall all the Japanese cars are called in the 70's are junks. Now its one of the better cars to purchase. In the 80's, people thought the Korean cars are junks. Now its much improved since 20+ years ago. Now the Chinese cars, it may not be up to N.A or EU standard. Give them time. It will be just as good as Japanese, Korean or European cars.

  • Thank you

  • @0ct0ct09 well technocly its a british designd car it will be called MG6 over in uk and autocar said its best in class to drive. the only complaint is the interior is dull. will be built in longbridge.

  • @hamster639

If its British its going to be Shit. Id trust it more if it was Chinese. The British are to cars like America is to the Middle East. Not good, not good at all. Every British Engineered car is at the bottom of the basement in American Reliability Scores. MINI, Jag/Land Rover.

it looks ok, but in America looks wont just cut it. AMERICANS DEMAND RELIABILITY

It either has to be RELIABLE

    AND IF IT ISNT

    A. IT HAS TO BE A PREMIUM LUXURY BRAND

    OR

    B. DIRT BUTT ASS CHEAP

  • If China ca build a car that is safe, reliable, affordable, then I will buy it

  • This car is safe, affordable and fast.....

  • @skbuoy China will build cars that is cheaper than Korean ones and as safe and reliable as Japanese cars within 10 years.

  • the song is great

  • looks nice however, everybody knows that most stuffs made in China are just shinny crap and disposable. ROFL

  • does anyone know this song? please + thanx!!

  • Awesome car i want to buy it ^.^

  • Sweet car! But its more English than Chinease. Made in England, where the HQ is.

  • only the MG badged ones are made in england.

  • It's Chinese car. Just throw it in the garbage beg.

  • that is an awesome car, i cant wait til it comes to North America.

  • What a beautiful car.

  • Nice car, Can't wait it can export to the world wide.

  • good!MADE by CHINA,China proud!!

  • pretty good,i would buy one.lol..

  • it's because this car is not there's this was designed aand built by mg rover group

  • they can't, it's designed by British MG engineers!

  • Hmm Wonder if they will ever allow them here in the USA??... Or are we going to be A-holes as always and not let them in.

  • With cars, labor is a very small part of production costs and China has only recently allowed private ownership, so there has been little incentive to build entire vehicles there. It's not that they couldn't build them, they just didn't need to. Many individual components are made in China, but assembled elsewhere or used as aftermarket equipment.

I hope these will be released in Australia eventually.

  • it does a bit but saic own a share in the vw group they make vw's in china saic do and the design is a old rover design to replace the 45.

  • Actually I don't like Chinese cars, but this one looks pretty good and it isn't only a cheap copy of an european car like the Roewe 750 (Rover in China - a nightmare).

I think, it's a proof that they are able to build great cars by their own as well es we in Europe do.

And I also think that this car could be successfull here in Europe.

    .. and I like the song. :-D

  • what the hell are you fucking talking about??! Cheap copy??! SAIC owns MG and they have the full rights to the Roewe 750.

  • Roewe550 looks "way to much like a VW" only because of the head lights?? This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard LOL.

Ok, so besides the head lights, what else of this car will looks like a Passat? (well, it got 4 wheels, 4 doors, a steering wheel also, which is exactly the same as what Passat has:)

  • whao... holy crap easy there... its true they do look like passat headlights

  • To VincentCheng93: You look like human too much. U r copying from others! Stupid Ass...

  • It's totally original, designed and engineered by former Rover team.

  • The headlights'design inspiration comes from Rover 75.

  • Can you please tell me who sang the song the i love it thankz

  • Joel Hanson

  • thank you sooo much!!!

  • can you tell does it have ESP ABS And Traction Control?

  • of course,Roewe 550 comes standard with ABS,EBD,CBC,TCS,MSR,VSC and EBA in active safety, 6 airbags in passive safety.

  • thankz but whats CBC

  • cornering brake control

  • kool thankz

  • Much better!
