U cant compare this to any of the Indian dances. Bollywood refers to Indian Movies and bollywood routine refers to the Indian movie dances. Here it doent have any element of typical dance. To be good in Indian dance takes years of practice. Even the finger tips has to dance and need to be synchronize. But the choreagrapher though by mixing many western element has tried to portray the best. Only the costumes and song is Indian.

Why do they always look to that gay Nakul Dev Mahajan as a chorographer? He does know his stuff, but he's just to "laa-dee-daa". Plus, he totally ruined India's chances in the Superstars of Dance thing they had on NBC. India could have easily won, but his choreography for the so-called "Bhangra" and the duets was so bad and India ended up losing in the end. They only got silver for solo and that was someone who did personal choreography. I hope they choose other people for future stuff.

In terms of music, this routine was more dramatic than a Bollywood routine danced by Kathee and Joshua.

In terms of Bollywood dancing techniques, Kathee and Joshua were much better than Mollee and Nathan.

@iamshadowcon I agree, the song has nothing to do with a king going to war but rather his subjects singing about their love for their king. I find most of the choreography done by this choreographer contains the same movements. As a dancer myself I don't consider this to be bollywood dancing. It lacks the grace and expression that one usually expects.

Dance was good ,but the meaning of the song told by choreographer is wrong i should say. The actual meaning of the song is "that the people of the king are praising him and dancing for the king". It is not a love song i should say,The choreographer is totally insane and i doubt if he can understand Hindi.

@bastet921 in bollywood,dance is used to express the story of the song. If they were going to tell a "love story" there are many other songs that could have been used. This song in no way ties in with the idea of a prince going to war etc. The song is about a kings subjects expressing their love/appreciation for their king.

One flaw that immediately struck me is that they're dancing with the Taj Mahal at the back. However, the movie from which this song has been taken is about Emperor Akbar. The Taj Mahal did not exist during his reign. It was built by Shah Jehan, who was his grandson.
