Leslie Robertson, one of the chief structural engineers, said so upon seeing the impacts - that was all he needed. Even if part of it was devastated by fires, which it wasn't, it would have endured an assymetrical collapse. And the other towers didn't fall on it like you say.

I do not believe in ANY of the kooky conspiracy theories advanced by the nutballs in the troofer movement. Why? Simple - no proof. Nothing. Not an ounce, not a shred, not an iota of proof of ANY conspiracy...the troofer movement and the kooks in it feed on speculation, the vast majority of which is provably false. People who believe in fact-less conspiracy theories over logical, fact-based rational explanations suffer from mental illness. They need psychiatric help.

Edgeman, well thanks for wasting your time explaining to us that blue is green, wet is dry and 2+2=4. Building 7 did not come down in 18 seconds. It fell in under 10. Even if part of it was devastated by fires, which it wasn't, it would have endured an assymetrical collapse. That is, the portion of it most affected by the fires would have collapsed first, and then the other in an unbalanced manner. Instead it fell quickly into a neat pile. And the other towers didn't fall on it like you say.

Why did congressional testimony show Dick Cheney was asked 30 minutes prior to the second Twin Tower if the "orders still stand" and he said "yes." Why did GW keep reading to schoolkids after he was told of the attack? Why were there Israelis in a parking lot waiting for the planes to hit, filming it, and then celebrating? Why is Bin Laden not officially wanted for 9/11? Why have we not found him?

Therefore, before having the president say anything, they wanted to confirm that the 2nd report was actually a 2nd plane--not simply a correction of the first report.

LMAO@your clip. The building doesn't fully begin collapsing until 9 seconds in, making for a freefall controlled demolition of 6 seconds. Do you understand what happens if fires cause a collapse? The buidling falls assymetrically accd. to where the fires were! The portions that werent on fire, fall last or not at all. At worst, there were 3 major fires on 3 dif. floors. But the whole building fell together, beginning w/ the top that wasn't even on fire. How many vaccines did you get as a kid?

What the 1964 white paper is actually quite irelevant, you are just clinging to that statement, like the one of Nyrup here, do to the fact that all the engineers (exept Gage's 00.08%) and researchers in the world is of a total different opinion, an opinion that is based on facts and evidence, not bad quote mining taken out of context. Again, the same quote can be aplied to Titanic e.g. right?
The NIST report is pretty open for all to see and use. What data are they refusing?

Perhaps you're unaware that no steel-structured high-rise has ever collapsed for a second at the rate of freefall acceleration, as can be observed in measurements of controlled demolitions. "Appeal to authority" ("experts" such as the FDNY) is a logical fallacy. Even NIST had to admit that WTC7 comes down for 2.5 seconds at the rate of freefall acceleration. Additional logical fallacies are needed to accept NIST's claims and to rule out the abundant evidence of iron-liquifying temps.

3) Im sure youre also unaware that one portion of one wall experiencing a brief "free rate" is not indicateve of the entire building. Since the entire B7 collapse was close to 18 secs, obviously it was NOT a CD, since CDs take about 1/3rd that time to collapse a B that tall.
4) Further, I can roll a bowling ball down a flight of stairs. It will have moments of free fall. Thats not the same as a "no-resistance" fall.

Leslie Robertson, lead structural engineer of the WTC, said the towers' ability to withstand an airplane impact "assumed a plane lost in a fog while searching for an airport at relatively low speed..." There are no known studies conducted by any engineers that tested how the towers would fare if subjected to a deliberate attack by fully-fueled jet liners. Robertson added "To the best of our knowledge, little was known about the effects of a fire from such an aircraft."

"The buildings have been investigated and found to be safe in an assumed collision with a large jet airliner (Boeing 707—DC 8) traveling at 600 miles per hour. Analysis indicates that such collision would result in only local damage which could not cause collapse or substantial damage to the building and would not endanger the lives and safety of occupants not in the immediate area of impact."
