How do we know that he didn't LOVE doing this series? Perhaps he carefully contrived it to be utterly unfunny and worked hard to ensure it would be rejected as a pilot? It could very well be his greatest triumph and we'd never know it!

See. I believe this is the series he hated. He couldn't have minded Taxi. Or, perhaps he was gun-shy to do Taxi because of this experience.

Agreed! "Fingers and Knuckles" would've been funny as hell. I love how he did the voice of Knuckles.
One thing I don't understand though - he bulked at doing "Taxi"... so I am surprised he did THIS show.
