Ah, how the "DQ's" make me laugh. I applaud their pazaaz and chutzpah and although I do not have that inclination, I wish I had a modicum of their courage.
Isn't it amazing at how well it turned out? I was blown away. Drew did a much better job than I expected. It was a much more grown-up role than I had seen her play before.
I think if the real Edie were still alive she would've been keeping with the times and would've been very happy with the finished product, not to mention Drew and Jessica's excellent performances. The movie was no "joke," it was a loving and beautiful tribute to the Beale women.
