  • This is good basic information to cover in a short period of time, but there are nuances to each move which could be covered in greater depth. That is why you go to a reputable school so that you train so well that you automatically keep yourself and your opponent(s) safe.

  • @dvsmike it's work left, turn right. Your not supposed to get up to the left. I don't know why but I'm sure it goes back some years. Also in Mexico they work right side.

  • @McCHitman You get up to the right, because then you naturally feed your left side to the opponent. This guy knows what he's talking about, but he sucks as a teacher.

  • @McCHitman That was a few years ago, you should see our recent match from BEYOND wrestling. I was fresh outta training for the first match so it's probly not my best one lol.

  • it is VERY cool , but i think, you should sell some more. I am sure, your are doing it, when you have a match, but in this video, you should make people knoiw, how mutch you are going to sell it. And you could also tell about the rope running some more. When you have hitted the rope, then you shall only run three steps to the other side of ther ing

  • Great stuff! I've just started training to wrestle (and a late start too). This is very useful. As so far it's very close to how I'm trained. But yes they should have mentioned the 'post' a move for the slam and suplex.

    Oh and the training is evil!

  • When u bump and come up, the way to get up off ur elbow and knee is correct but it would be wiser to go to ur left. Example...when u hit with a shoulder tackle its with the left shoulder and you roll to your left when the opponent runs to the ropes. Also if they dont hit the side rope and just go straight ahead, when you get up to your left, you will be in position to take the left shoulder tackle smoothly instead of having have to readjust if you were to get up to your right.

  • @MrGamefreak001 My number one tip for your friend is that If he wants to be a wrestler, I hope he approaches it with serious intent. If you have the right state of mind, anything is possible. You don't have to be big and strong but It is necessary to stay in shape as you can get hurt even by doing the simplest of moves like running the ropes. In the end, its an amazing experience that can't be described. Good for him, no matter what don't get discouraged and hope to see him in the ring soon.

  • I think you forgot to say that to do a bodyslam, you need to place your hands on your opponent's knee to give him a boost up if you're the one whose getting thrown.

  • @TzipKing You aim for the hip but you should at least get mid thigh to really get yourself up
