  • I've been on meds since I was 15yr old now I'm 48ys I tried twice to end it all but was saved,I still live with deep depressions and they can last for years it can be the smallest of thing that creates it, yes it is selffish but when your deep into it you don't give a stuff for anyone including yourself, Sad about Shawn really sad.

  • I have been sucidal for nearly 3 years now, I can't take the pain anymore, I just want to end it all :'( And anybody that says suicide is selfish and a sin are complete assholes

  • @WESTMIDLANDSGIRL2K11 suicide by definition is selfish, but there is nothing wrong in saying that it is selfish. What type of pain are you in?

  • @GrahamAndFriends Well, I agree if you have kids and stuff like that then suicide can turn out to be selfish, but I have read alot about people who kill themselves and they are mentally ill, in constant pain and they are not thinking clearly at the time of their death so unless they have got kids or anything then I don't really think its that selfish, I have been feeling pain for just over 2 years now and I want it to end

  • @WESTMIDLANDSGIRL2K11 what sort of pain?

  • @GrahamAndFriends emotional pain, but I have been dealing with it for to long now and no matter how many doctors I have seen about it I am still suffering with it, I also think I could have an eating disorder aswell, people tell me that I am still thin but when I look all I see is fat, I don't know that could possibly be Bulimia or not though

  • @WESTMIDLANDSGIRL2K11 have you seen any councillors? or a natropath?

  • @GrahamAndFriends I seen one in college a few times but she has left now

  • i hate myself and wanna die

  • nicely said, much greater insight than FAB, lol

  • Planetary Partners posted an MP3, A Loving call to Action in her profile.

the link is on NoShyGirLHere page? yt won't let me post it here.

    The point is

sometimes something so simple as a smile can change the whole world !

    You are so Awesome!!!

  • Please don't ever kill yourself...you are too awesome to die...

  • @ModifiedNinja thanks. Don't worry I am over that now! I want to enjoy life and live long!

  • Just found some time to go through these vids about the subject at hand. I must say Graham you've done a great job on this one mate.. Thank you !

  • @BIGITCHMAN thanks.

  • I like the smell of guns?????

it needs to be mandatory that all major countrys put prozac and Zanax in there water supplies.

  • I like the smell of guns?????

  • @mbrosset318 yes ofcourse. I like the smell of a well oiled shot gun! When it is fired it smells nice. I love the smell of gun powder! Who doesn't?

  • Suicide, is the result of 'coping mechanism's', being overwhelmed. A 'balance' is not equal or in the favour of overcoming the problem, whtvr it may be. And LS 'choice', was to avoid a life of pain. First and foremost, everything that you do on this Earth, begins within yourself. All of your experiences of life, emanate from within you. Therefore, IF your 'vehicle', your body, is faulty and not up to the task... it should be allowed to "start over", as LS did. The choices are ours.

  • You seem like a cool and kind person:) don't want to push my beliefs but just wish all the best from Croatia!

  • I don't think it is selfish. If you know the person you would understand their reason for it and understand why. Really I think that we are the selfish ones. We are the ones wanting them to stay for our own sake. Unless its for a stupid reason. But if they are in unbearable pain, with not chance to get better. Then yes.

  • Death by obesity? Have you researched NAAFA and HAES?

  • Been there too.Very well balanced perspective. Frankness and honesty are rare qualities, Graham. Well said, mate.

  • Very well said mate.

  • Well said my friend.

  • You are still alive, You don't have to die been fat. A person who lives is a person who can change.

  • brutally honest video..

  • good vid. : )

  • well said, thank you Graham

  • Very well put together video graham and I love guns too but I'm only been clay pigeon shooting once. But anyway well done Graham

  • I think Suicide is for Coward people. Always is a way out for the problems. They just take the easy and selfish way

  • Cheers, mate :)

  • go get you some grape juice and a biscuit Graham.....

  • Christian Fundamentalism seems to have very limited empathy, or none at all. I don't accept that kind of sick fundy religion. People are suffering and all they can do is judge them.

  • @danlnad i disagree....i see a LOT of Empathy in Christian Funamentalism. What you are seeing is the Christian thats NOT doing what God wants him to do. I could be a Born Again Believer and a total Idiot at the same time. But God doesnt want me to be the "Idiot" he wants me to obey his Word........ but people are people. I Have Lived in Pennsylvania and North Carolina........there is a BIG difference of how Christians act between those states.....North Carolina is the real McCoy

  • Breathe*Deep The essence of all beauty that surrounds you All joy filling the cup of creation Endless beating hearts sharing love & compassion toward each other Comprising life & each serendipitous moment with chance & opportunity 2 excel pass or fail Breathe deep a continuous storm living free 2 change one self & the world As within the calm silent eddies beyond turbulence rest natures providence & grace of being Patiently considering each struggle & triumph so you may prevail together as one.

  • Great video, well said, mate.

  • Poised within the fatal moment looking neither outward nor inward overwhelmed by feeling absent of desire fixed upon nothing a fallow relic lying indifferent churned 2 sour liquid existing in a cemetery of contempt numb 2 any pertaining relevance the quiet beauty of love beckons 2 a willful soul wrangling 2 inflict life’s merit upon this final dispute hand in hand the composer is witness 2 that which s\he has wrought below the injured surface a desperate whisper yearning 2 be heard, farewell...

  • Rejection Swimming in seas of doubt, treading emotional distrust as flooding worldly rains deluge your soul, tides of fate force direction upon us, gasping to retain self-worth & a semblance of orientation, time drags with the seeming weight of a quarrelsome pachyderm pacing before our path, an overwhelming pageant of perceived failure ominously orbits around this helpless attitude, through these tight corridors of apparently ordained circumstance are led the hopes & dreams of accomplishment.

  • One who comprehends life as true lesson, Understands their cup is neither half full, nor half empty... For It is always being fulfilled... With L.O.V.E.

  • I was feeling very depressed at work over some personal life issues today. I didn't have much to do and I just didn't want to be there. Then I got called into a training session on dirty fiber optic cables and proper handling. I was in nerd heaven. It did a nice job of taking my mind off of things that are making me sad right now. For me, distractions like the training session are what breaks me out of a slump. It gives me something completely opposite of what is bothering me to think about. :)

  • Nice work Graham. I think you have wrapped things up pretty well here. :)

  • Suicidal people don't want help, they want out. They CAN'T exist anymore. That's what that living will never understand. Once the noise gets too loud, there is no choice. It has to stop. There is NO choice.

  • I'm glad you're still around. You share such happiness with others and inspire others to be better people. *hugs*

  • Okay, the combination of your gun-affinity and Ted's control over you gives me the willies...

  • there was a song in the 1960s about a Gunslinger called big bad John.....we should change the Lyrics to Big Bad Graham.......the 142nd fastest gun in the West .........141 was faster than he, but Graham he was looking for #143....big bad Graham, big bad Graham the 142nd fastest gun in the west.

  • My friend committed suicide. He was always bullied for the way he was. I tried to help, no infcact I did help. Graham thanks for getting this message across, -Your Mate from Wales.

  • Nice video Graham, very thoughtful message for those who don't understand depression and suicide and how it effects those around you.

Didn't see you as a gun person either, lol. Would like to see you doing some shootin!! Take care.

  • Graham i cannot believe how u can think such bad things about urself! Ur one of those persons who make the rest of us get through the day with a smile! .. really, ur doing a difference!

  • Great video Graham. You have a wonderful heart & soul. I always enjoy your videos.

  • When you have lived for years in pain... and you're tired of life and have no reason to live, there is only one way out and that's to end it all.

People say that you will cause pain to others if you take suicide... But if living is a pain, the others are keeping you alive... Suicide is not weak.

  • Graham. As far as I can tell, there are 24,341 reasons to survive. That is the number of subscribers. Not for the fact that we would miss your videos, but because that is the number of people that love you. That is WAY more than the number of people that love me. I don't know what mental health is like in Australia, but you should get help. There are a lot of medicines that can help you and counseling by licensed mental health providers. As a wise man said "Stay safe, take care."

  • Good video.

  • Who killed himself? Didn't hear it...

  • Suicide is selfish, anyone who denies is is stupid...honestly. Killing yourself when you have friends & family who care about you is...SELFISH. you are inflicting pain upon all those around you to simply end the pain of your own..There are ways other than suicide and thats simple fact, if it wasn't there wouldn't be so many people who have thought about suicide but then sought out help to stop those thoughts and better their lives.

  • Great video Graham

  • Well said Graham. :)

  • Great video and a great message Graham

  • 1:50 you said....."Ok my pain is too great,I will kill myself and no more pain for me." OK....Do these people Realize that the Pain Could CONTINUE after they die? You are a Mormon Graham, So i am sure you understand that if a Person ends up in Hell after they die. that (1) the Pain will be Worse MUCH worse and (2) it is permanent and (3) its forever....When a Person is alive they can change things. Like You. You Might be Obese but in a Years time you might NOT BE,for a dead person its FINAL

  • @CoffeehousePorcupine Ed, Mormons don't believe in the Hell, as described in other Christian faiths.

  • @GrahamAndFriends what do Mormons believe in Graham (coming from a Baptist) no offense

  • @GrahamAndFriends as I am someone who has been battling obesity throughout most of my adult life and now starting to take steps to beat it, I believe that whether one is a Mormon or a Christian, we need to eat right, sleep well and exercise. The Bible tells us that our bodies are a "temple of the Holy Spirit" and "No man ever hates his own body, rather he endeavours to care for it". Sadly, we are living in an increasingly sedentary world which makes respecting the body a huge challenge.

  • @GrahamAndFriends Gramham im a big fan but mormons do bleive in hell they belive in a diffrent type mormons belive in the three parts of after life

  • @CoffeehousePorcupine Mormons and the book Of Mormon are all a Bunch of Bullshit and its just plain STUPID.

  • @MrAhrya1230 I read the King James Bible Myself and Nothing Else, But Graham being a Mormon can understand my point, that things donr always get better when you Die.........And I think you Owe Graham and Apology for what you said in your post. Do the right thing Bro.

  • @CoffeehousePorcupine I apologize for Graham for my idiotic and immature comment and behavior. I'll keep them to myself. Sorry man.

  • @CoffeehousePorcupine Then prove the existence of hell my friend? Everything else (after the hell bit) is very true.

  • @toyotaprius79 Well to begin with YOU probably dont believe the Bible AND I DO,so no matter what I say you wont believe it.But its Revelation Chapter 20 I am stating Truth to you,But I could tell you that you are Breathing Air too,But you cant see air so you could be skeptical. Many other Analagies can be drawn. I could also turn the question around and ask you to tell me why it wouldnt exist. And Give me a reference to it. I'll refute it and point at the Bible,So your question is a moot point.

  • @CoffeehousePorcupine not everyone believes in god another christian pushing ther believes on to others

  • @adamasdiamandis Well, If Athiests push thier beliefs,Agnostics push thier beliefs,Mormons push thier Beliefs, then Christians should be able to also. You cannot just Silence ONE faction. You either silence NONE of them or ALL of them. If its ALL of them, its called Tyranny, If its None of them its called democracy

  • @CoffeehousePorcupine UR A MORON

  • @bistnenutte Well you replied to me, So obviously you hang out with we Morons

  • @littlegalah weren't you good friends with Graham and how dare you say that shave your beard pedo

  • Also in regards to you saying you hurt a lot of people if you commit suicide. It's true. You as a depressed person don't realise it.A friend of mine ended her life June '11 aged 17. Her closest friend created a fanpage on FB in remembrance of her. Guess how many fans liked the page. 894 people. 894 people are missing her every day, whether they were close or distant friends, it doesn't matter. I see this as proof that people care about you no matter how close friends you are.

  • Did you read the sad story about the 10 year old girl who committed suicide a few days ago? It's so sad, she was only 10.. Because she got horribly bullied in school. I hate bullies so much. I got bullied in middle & high school and was depressed between ages 13 to 17. And much more. But anyways, I'm so glad and happy you're still around, and RIP to the man who did end his life.

  • In my opinion, if you feel suicidal, you should go and do whatever the fuck you want. No matter what you do, you're being safe - you were going up agianst a 100% death rate when you wanted to suicide. Go bungee jumping, travel the world... at least experience life before ending it.

  • you are such a clam laid back guy, nice one mate.....

  • Awesome video!! A couple days ago was the 2 yr anniversary of my friends suicide :( I cannot judge her.

she left two beautiful baby boys, but Im sure in HER mind, she did it for them. I pray those who are suffering with pain & depression find peace.

  • Great video Graham, nothing i can add to this H&R

  • Great video Graham...

Suffered and still suffering varying levels of depression for the past 20 years... that's included 3 suicide attempts later, luckily I am STILL here and glad that is the case....

  • @robdotcom71 keep it up!

  • very nice video. i love you :D

  • Sometimes we all have to be selfish to control our own needs or wants in life, there is nothing wrong with that. Great video Graham :)

  • Jean Amery once put it the way I believe it to be

"There is nothing selfish or cowardly about committing "Freitod" (a german word meaning "Free Death, Voluntary Death"). Nothing is more brave than going against that most important of human instincts - Preservation.

I have contemplated suicide myself, however considering that this might/is very likely to be the ONLY life we'll EVER have, I can't end it myself.

Thanks for sharing Graham, very touching.

  • Unfortunately one of my good friends committed suicide 1 year ago tomorrow :'(

    R.I.P Jess<3

  • graham great vid mate you coming on skype?

  • Thankyou for uploading this Graham. Similar to a previous comment, I also lost several years of my life due to it, however, I have now begun to claw my way out of the dark pit. Hopefully, someone will watch this video and seek help.

  • Well spoken Graham. Hopefully one day i too can find the light out of the darkness.

  • feeling extremely depressed...take st.johns wort.

  • A person with a lifelong of experience that shares his wisdom with the younger generation. that's you Graham. keep it up :D

  • that is exactly how we do feel. But some of us are lucky enough to have someone to help us out. Graham your video was very touching.

  • Graham, you're an amazing fellow. Thanks for sharing this message from your life. Depression and suicide are very serious issues in this world. My brother completed suicide when he was 15, in 1985. I myself have had depression. It is a common malady. Empathy and compassion seems to be in short supply in this world. Depression is a temporary illness (or can be with the right medication and help) and suicide is a long term solution to a short term problem. Sad to see the pain of others.

  • That was a really good video.

  • wow, I'm actually really depressed right now, but I won't commit suicide because I'm better than that

  • Kudos to you Graham for uploading this message. I basically lost 2 or 3 years of my life to the illness, I never got as far as attempting suicide, but contemplated it several times.

I decided enough was enough and got help, went onto medication and things are improving. People need to be aware that help is available, and that suicide should never be seen as a way out...

  • but if obesity is something you can not or have problems controlling, does it mean you are selfish if its not because of you? you cant be held responsible for something that you have no control over.

  • we all love you Graham

  • Very true, and im glad you found an easier way out of it. I love your videos and i believe this was your purpose. To make awesome videos! Keep it up!
