  • What the hell is wrong with every one! You were killin it!

  • Man you NAILED some of those tones and techniques. . .I was going to say that you also cop'd Hendrix to the T. . .but then again maybe you were just being yourself - which would be AWESOME! Keep it up man!

  • Trust me... he's being himself, but it's also clear Jimi is a major influence.

  • THAT WAS GREAT! YOU are a man just wanta wail, old man just want a GUITAR FOR A LOVER!

  • that was the skin heads version of the one and only woodstock

  • Hendrix style !

  • Nailed those Hendrix solos on this!

  • very nice playing....

where was this at....cause it looked like everybody was headed to hear some country music.

everybody that passed by looked like they were some inbred, toby keith listening country fuckers.

  • I didn't know the Brown Sound came with the socks!

  • sounds great, bad croud.

  • you make that boxy sound sound kickass, great playing, amazing, love it, do regular shows man ill be there

  • Wow!

  • Very Cool! I am really digging your vids. BTW, I used to live 10 mins from Carl Perkins' house in Tennessee.

  • Just read the story!!

    Awesome inspirational stuff mate!!!

  • nice stunt man ... i wud have been front and center ... but u shud have played a lil more weird stuff..as in more 'jazzy'..that sorta crazy stunt expects crazier playing ;)

  • Your are a great guitar player J.B. What a shame nobody there.

  • *****mean guitar*****beautiful!

  • Johnny Tsak's interpretation of Stairway To Heaven! :-)

Yooz a crazy man my friend!

  • My brother killer tone and none gets lost outside. What pups are in your strat n the OD you used at the time if any?

  • You got to know that they are old gibsons ! Mini Hums from the 60's and a trini Lopez in the bridge 1972 thru a old 100 watt Marshall circa 1973 !

  • Very cool

  • impressive!

  • Music has so many facets to its face and I have looked it in the eye as a guitar player and realize that telling the truth while your playing is what makes you legit ; it's like preaching from God the creator trying to tell a story thru your improvising of what is on the inside or is their a song in your Heart and take me to that place thru your exspession or language/communication !

  • You, Mark and Kevin in 1980? I never knew that. I played (briefly) w/ Kevin and one bunch of guys (Rosenblatt, Warsaw and Viegas) in '78, ended up branching off with the bunch sans Kevin, came back to Kevin's to play w/ he, Lizmi, and Smoot, then he, Lizmi, Fox and Jones (keys) in '81, and for all of that, never knew he'd played with you and Mark in the meanwhile. I think it's kind of cool how tight the local music scene was, at the time.

  • All you guitarists were ballsy, too. Like when Lizmi slid up beside JY of Styx, after a Styx show, and gently noted, "You sure use that whammy bar alot." Hilarious! Lizmi and I did the backstage thing at Van Halen '81. We were much more successful with Rush, providing them the first tape they'd ever heard of someone else covering their material. Some of the friendships I made that night lasted (or, at least, provided seats and backstage passes) for the better part of the next decade.

  • Yeah ! I just won the dc101 hottest local guitar concert and REO speedwagon gave me a brand new les paul and I was on the radio talking it up and Kevin and I and Marc would go to all the high schools and Jump out of the van Playing eruption or earthquake and they would handout flyers for our concerts which were allways back in those days sold out due to our crazy promotion technique !

  • That was 1980 ! I still have some incredible audio tapes of thiose shows with Kevin playing His stainless steel drums which were as loud as any 100 watt marshall ever made ! Back in those days Kevin and I could not be touched by anyone for sheer dextrous playing and I got the tapes to prove it ! I kept my chops over the years and never bought into the not wailing your heart out songwritng that Sadly Kevin has given up or into !

  • Very Kool video--good to see it !!! Peace/Love

  • Yawn...... Next time just stand on your head naked and spit wooden nickels. Nobody would notice. These people are dead to the world.

I'd rather see a video of the Paragon gig where you took James' white Strat and El Ka-bonged the three roadies that unplugged your amp and tried to throw you off stage while we were playing the last song. Now that, was entertainment!!! You swing a Strat better thatn you play one. :-)

  • Who has got that video ? I will gladly pay you on tuesday for that video today ! I got bum rushed by those three guys so I started swinging knocking guys out with that strat and no stage dads were there to fight back while those bums tried to take the stage ! I bet they won't be so anxious the next time they decide to try and force someome off the stage Cuase I swing and sling a mean guitar and I'm serving notice on all goofballs that try to attack me while I'm wailing !

  • now that is cool!

  • You amaze me....loved it! Glad you didn't fall..lol

  • I know it was shaking and it was ready to fall any second !

  • lol
