i'd of got past just after the car joined the road...there was plenty of time and the lines suggested it was legal to do so. But anyhow, still nicely done, especially with the 'gotcha!'
@Dantesdoom They happen just before the start of the unbroken centreline to let any overtaking vehicles know they must return to their side of the road before the unbroken (no overtaking) section starts.
@turricaned Oh ok. We have the same rule, just without the arrows. I kept looking at them going "wha?!!". Thanks for the information and quick response!
@mannthing True it usually is, but if anything its Micras which have sped up in recent years. I havn't been on the road much since I left RAC but Ford drivers havn't changed. They do 40 in a 30, but carry on doing 40 in a 60? Typical.
@TforceNab05 I'd rather be stuck behind someone going below the speed limit than the same person driving faster than they are comfortable with on the road and crashing into me. Wouldn't you?
@jbdtaylor If you're behind them and they are going faster than they are comfortable with, how would they crash into you? Besides, I think slow coaches on country roads are probably more dangerous than those who drive at an adequate speed.
i love it with my bike but your right its a dodgy road, i was in my truck in this vid and its limited to 56mph so you have to time overtakes carefully
What are you driving?

@FireflyX91 i could have but solid centre line overtaking is not clever, theres a blind dip ahead at 1.08 :)
mannthing 4 months ago
@FireflyX91 i would have gone at 0:40...
powersurge001 4 months ago
@powersurge001 Could have done but if somebody came round the bend at excessive speed it could be pretty bad... for them anyway :p

I am sick to the back teeth of being stuck behind damn slow drivers going 25-35mph on country roads. They all need a slap.

They should introduce MINIMUM speed limits as well as MAXIMUM, if you go below the MINIMUM you get done for impeding the flow of traffic.
