Thanks man. I actually have a new method now that's even more consistent (and looks a little cooler I think). I've been meaning to put it up for a while.
...Just leave him the fuck alone. If he wants to tap him, let him. Who gives a shit? He FC'd it and he posted a video about it... be happy that he's not even bragging about it.
I truly am amazed at youtubers' inability to read. Please read anyone of my previous comments since I'm tired of explaining it. Don't like this method? Then find another one.
And out of all my vids of difficult FCs and hands vids of much more difficult sections, how if this, by far, my most watched video?
Basically, even though you CAN hitting something with one hand, that doesn't mean that it isn't easier to tap it. Just because I can one-hand the intro of Through the Fire and Flames doesn't mean that I shouldn't tap it.
It's even lamer when people can't seem to read a few comments down.
And I know of a lot of people who prefer to tap this section. Just because you can FC something one-handed, that doesn't mean it's the best method. I can FC the intro of TtFaF one-handed, but does that mean it's "lame" when people tap it?
And not everyone can move their hands at inhuman speed like danny/jlc/baseballkid etc.
Myself, because I don't use my pinky, I tent to tap a lot as well. I just got very used to quickly hit a buttong with my strumhand, since I practiced the ttfaf intro (too) much :)
there are many reasons you can't one hit it, before I was making the assumption you could one hand it and you'd be more consistant if you did one hand it.
Now I"m asking if it's more consistant or if you just can't one hand it.
And I just did read your comment :S didn't see it before.
True, I actually tap YYZ by just tapping the highest note of each zigzag while anchoring green and hitting the middle note normally. My fingers are too short to hit this without tapping :(
now play on a real guitar...

Sorry, I can not understand everything you say, and therefore can not read all the comments because I'm from Spain and not much English.

Completely agreed.
You cant non-tap and fc every song, you know >.>

Good job on the vid, btw.

danny/jlc/baseballkid/strikebowler etc.
Fixed.

Yeah man! I don't use my pinky either (cause it's fucked up) I usually tap parts of a song that need not be tapped but it's just easier for me to do.

do'nt understand why you don't just one hand it?
PriestRSC 3 years ago
Consistency maybe? There's no right or wrong way to hit it so I don't see a problem.
McSkinny8 3 years ago 7
Ok, let me rephrase it, why don't you one hand it*
PriestRSC 3 years ago
lol that's not rephrasing it, you just said the exact same thing.
McSkinny8 3 years ago 6
That hardly rephrasing it, and you could just read my previous comment.

One handing is not that hard, man. This is actually substantially more complicated than just one handing it. Nice job, though.

Looks like how I used to do the YYZ zig-zag. :P Tapping isn't necessary though for this... I guess its all just a matter of personal preference.
