@pat442389. I feel for ya bro. U are still young and can get off methadone. Try to stay as little on meth. It might sound stupid but after u get sick go back to Ox. And taper down. Never take subutex or suboxton. Try are worse than oxy. I got shot 5 times and was taking 500mg a day. I'm down to 100/150 a day now. Still pain but u can do it !

I've never heard another person claim "boredom" as a reason for getting intoxicated/high. Seriously, I thought I was the only one. Everyone else usually says "depression" or "curiosity".

I feel so bad for his mom and sister, having to constantly deal with his relapses and suicide attempts, I love Artie but he just needs to cleave himself away from that lifestyle and just do something else with his life for his own sake.

meth all put together every year. And if you're lucky and don't die u will and u will have to take it for the rest of your life. It's replacing one drug for another. Heroin has had a bad name killing people cuz it's not regulated. One time u get 25% another 80%

@Lvduggo69 yeah im 26 and on methadone. i was addicted 2 ocs first from a bad hockey injury in high school then i went 2 a d3 college in boston & was gonna try out but started using again, dropped out and havent done much since. nothing else worked for me and i always had something against methadone. my mother hates it and my family is split. it works physically but not mentally. i still use, not as much but am now stuck on methadone. it sucks actually thinking im 26 and already this screwed up

Well the fact is Howard for years goofed on rush lamebagh for taking oxy and being fat and I'm not saying Artie never did heroin but yes oxy is legal and u can get it from any pain Dr for just about annything. Your back hurts or whatever. U don't need proof for quack Dr's. Aka pain management Dr's. They give oxy out like candy. And believe it or not heroin sounds cool if you're a celeb. Oxy is for pussys in the rock, entertainment industry.

Even for those that can maintain financially as an addict (which probably isn't as easy as most think living as a junkie), addicts never come out on top--there aren't enough drugs in the world to ever fill the void most addicts have inside, even if you are rich--and if you're not, it's that much harder, and you'll probably end up homeless or dead. Drugs are really fun, but that's the problem--some things are just *too* good, and they'll make you a slave and ruin your life.

What's unfortunate about all this is Artie played things off with Dana alot of the time as things being her fault.

The dogs and what-not when it wasn't the dogs at all, it was the drug addict.

There can be no sympathy for a drug addict. Especially those like Artie who have the world by the balls and choose to go down this road.

why would he say heroin when oxy isnt as bad...he could of sugar coated it by saying oxy but he didnt...heroin is a buzz word for REALLY BAD its as bad saying I DO CRACK...he was on heroin and probably did oxys if he couldnt get any...

@DarthGiorgio oxy is just as bad as heroin....if your heroin source is really good and you're getting pure, or close to pure shit (a little lactose cut isn't going to hurt you), then it's almost the same thing. don't let anybody tell you oxy isn't as bad as heroin, that's horse shit

@xRxAxTxOx Depends on what you mean by "bad." Diacetylmorphine (heroin) is chemically different than oxycodone, and for the most part, more potent. Oxycodone is roughly 1.5 to 2.0 times the potency of morphine per mg, while heroin is roughly 1.9 up to 4.3 times the potency of morphine. Meaning 10mg of morphine = 5.0-6.7mg of oxycodone = 2.3-5.2mg of heroin.

But if you meant that both oxy and heroin can be detrimental to one's well-being and have great potentials for addiction, then I agree.

Artie helped more people than he thought comming out ! Although I think he was snorting oxy not heroin. Just from things in the past and the fact oxy is leagle heroin and he wouldn't loose his job again by going to jail.
