I find this very different from most of her stuff, even though each of her songs are very different in a sense. I can see why someone would prefer her work with Frou Frou over this. This is a pretty song but the production sucks. Whoever recorded this didn't clean up the vocal track. There are numerous clicks and pops. At one point you can hear her adjusting the mic or a music stand. It also sounds out of place with the instrument track.

I think it is safe to assume that the background noise is left in deliberately, though I don't know why.

I love Imogen Heap, but i find this one to be a technical failure. There are some pops, by moments her voice is too much in contrast with the melody on background, there is not much harmony in there. What's more, the voice "freestyle" for the "I think i've been somewhere special" part at 1:24 is quite ugly. That's destabilizing.
