come on be honest, this is grim. rossal was quite happy to put the boot into gg on a documentary not long ago-yet here he is peddling gg songs in this miserable act. check out what the other glitterband members think of him-not very much!

@paulhamerton hi, im not awhere of this.. as far as i know gary and his manager mike leander wrote and played all the instruments on all gg records... the glitter band only backed gary live... and did a fantastic job.....but this is just sad..... im going to see these in a few weeks,,, ill let ya know the out come. cheers.

saddest thing i've seen in a long time, the half hearted goodness gracious, dear me, and i thought gerry shephard was the glitterband, i preferred them on their own, kiddie fiddler never did it for me with all his posturing, sad old bald man that he is, the vocalist shouls either lay off the pies or lay off the spandex, not a good look, not on a man that must be 60 at least!!!!

Only the Guy who wrote all the hits.

They play them because they're amazing songs, simple.

Plus John started the band and in fact got Gary the job if you check the history out.

Most of the tunes were written by Mike Leander anyway.

Why do they call themself Glitter Band, when (firstly) only one member left, and (secondly) they perform 'amazing songs' originally done by Gary Glitter & written by Glitter/Leander?

but you will agree: too many ex-members of ANY bands go on with the old fame name...

So from time to time you'll find touring two "Middle Of The Roads", three "Glitter Bands", several "Sweet" and "Rubettes"...

There's even a "T-Rex", 30 years after Marc Bolan died - ridiculous !!!

Why not simply go for, as what he proudly is without any doubts: "John Rossall" ?

"Page and Plant" give a good example with leaving "Led Zeppelin" behind...

@TerraplaneTommy usually Harvey Ellison is in John`s band so that`s 2.Tony has nothing to do with the guys while John Springate and Pete Phipps also tour as the Glitter Band too.Gerry of course sadly died of cancer.
