@Jeghaderuvidenhed I suggest you download the free demo from the EA/Bioware site and give it a test run. A lot of the disapproval, in my view, is from those expecting and expansion to Origins. DA2 is a story of a personal quest to overcome all odds and succeed, while Origins is your bog-standard epic quest to save the world against all odds. Both are in my opinion, way better than a lot of others in the same genre, and you may well like them both, for different reasons.

And given the centuries of back story involving hideous things done to the Elves by human religious zealots, it is no wonder they are distrustful of the "shems."

@MarzX1802 you should use this glitch if you want to have a pwnage character a man named duncan will send you into the kocari wilds to get three vials of darkspawn blood and the grey warden cache collect only the blood and return then you will collect expirience each time you tell duncan you have the blood but not the scrolls I got to alistair and my character to level 23

@TheSpikesource1 Actually, this glitch and some others that gave infinite gold or xp were patched out of the game fairly early on, so if you were able to use it you likely had an un-patched version. Plus I do not like taking advantage of glitches in general.

@MarzX1802 One of the early criticisms of the game was that easy was normal, normal was hard and hard was nightmare! They heard the criticism and fixed the balance in a patch, which you may not have? Also, the enemies "scale" according to the strength of your party, so in theory the stronger your party the more difficult the battle.

Don't ask me why I'm watching this after watching your DA2 LP. I think it has something to do with withdrawal symptoms. I watched a couple of reviews earlier an shegeekreviwer said that DA2 was BETTER that DA:O and that she hated DA:O ...... WTF?! So yeah, I'm here watching this LP. I could just play it but have work to do ... but ... play this in the background! Such a great game. DA2 could have been so good if they just spent longer on it and hadn't fucking rushed. Damn. :(

@flamesofk0fan I don't know if you found an answer in the 2 weeks you posted this, but when you make a new game it makes a different profile with different games. Just switch profiles and your old game should be there. I think its under Load game or something. Can't remember.

@TheNavyJust Load Game, then Switch Character. Your older character should be listed unless you have done a clean re-install. I have over a dozen characters in various stages of play! And you can import any of those saves into DA2.

@xCoDLoVeR14x Look on the world map for a merchant, if memory serves it is something like "Sulcher's Pass(?)". Travel there and talk to the merchant. He will give you a control rod and the location of the Stone Prisoner, a village called Honnleath, and Honnleath will then show up on your world map.
