  • @mcpandawaffle The first symptom is a loss of use of the CAPS LOCK, followed by an inability to punctuate sentences! Get to the doctor, fast!!!

  • I LOVE IT o no wait thats wrong oh yeah thats right i know now U SUCK AT MAKING VIDS

  • @zumbuddygirl Wow, you must feel strongly about this to use a word like "suck". Why do you think that is? What do you think your mom would think of you using that word?

  • Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh, my brain, it's meeelllltttiiiinggg! I think this video is a contender to prove that Guile's theme doesn't go with everything!

  • COOL!

  • thats cool tank!

  • WHAT A FUCKING WASTE OF TIME, YOU DOPEY CUNT!!

SERIOUSLY THINK IT'S HIGH TIME YOUR MOTHER'S BRAIN WAS DESTROYED IN A HIGH SPEED COLLISION.

  • @jobbieteeth Sounds like you're already on a "high time"....

  • i wish i cold have sea monkeys this was awsome

  • i should hatch Triops with sea monkeys lol

  • What happened? Also are the cars glued to the base or free to move?

  • @mudkiptyler The cars don't move...now if they drove back and forth, that would be cool. They're glued to the base or are part of the base. They're kinda goofy colors too.

  • Triops are not hard at all to take care of and they are real, sea monkeys are made from scientists

  • @meandmyse111 Dude seamonkeys are real animals. They are brine shrimp.

  • did you know sea monkeys are actually shrimp

  • would love to see a drive by.

  • nice city tank where did you get it

  • @tacosfromearth : got it at Ocean State Job Lots (sort of a discount/liquidation store) in Massachusetts, about 3 or 4 years ago.

  • they arnt brine shrimp, they are relatives

  • Those are wicked!!

    They look scary!

I peed my pants looking at them once!!

    [this is from Matt]

  • Triops are harder to take care of

  • @pouya97 youve never met fish

  • i don't wanna spoil your fantasy but, 'sea-monkeys' are actually just Brine Shrimps. Google some about it.

  • Atleast they are cheap and easy to take care of. Perfect for kids that are just dying to have fish. I know they aren't fish, but young children aren't going to care.

  • so are triops... triops are easy and much cooler and interesting

  • yah but the one's you get aren't like those there actually raised and made in a lad so the last longer wile dry hard to explain and there name is Aretyma Nyos.. think i spelled it wrong but there not shrimp

  • I don't get it?

    What happened?

  • Dude, when you turn 13, you can comment on my videos. For now, I'm asking Santa to put coal in your stocking.

  • lol...

  • q way

  • im am so sorry aboiut catzilla i started crying even though i dont even know the. . . . . . cat?

  • Thanks for your note, yes, she was a cat. It's coming up on a year this coming week, and we still cry about losing her. The good news is that we found another sweet, adult, longhair cat at the local humane society (same place Amanda/Catzilla was from) who we named Emily and who makes it all worthwhile.

  • Cool ^_^.

  • i ment born? some one plz replay!?!?!? :)

  • when there just being burn could i put them in such a big tank?

  • Our tank is not very big--it's about 5 inches wide by 5 inches long by 4 inches tall.

I don't think it matters if the tank is big or small when you first try to get the seamonkeys to be born. BUT: the salt water has to be the correct proportion of salt and water, as it says in the instructions.

  • Oh, and the pink and yellow "cars" on the roads are only about one-half inch long! The video was taken right up against the tank, so the image on the screen on YouTube is actually "larger than life".

  • it looks like there are giant flying sea monkeys in a city

  • ..it stopped at 3:02... heh..

  • That's a pretty cool aquarium o_o;; Where'd you buy that? And uhm, do you know know if, when we get the Sea-Monkeys, are we allowed to use a bigger tank?

  • I got the tank (which was a set, with the sea monkey eggs, food, etc.) at "Ocean Job Lot", a discount store in Massachusetts (USA--in the suburbs of Boston). I think it was $8 or so.

I don't know for sure, but it should be OK to use any size tank. BUT--you need to make sure the salinity (proportion of salt content) of the water is correct.

  • Don't use too much of a bigger tank or your Sea Monkeys will die trying to find food. I would stick with the tank that came with it.

  • Amanda, 1993-2007.

Amanda (aka "Catzilla") passed away one week ago today, resting her poor tired little furry body in our arms. She was a sweet fluffy beast and is deeply missed.

  • why is the video title have VS in it when the cat just stands there(not trying to be mean or making fun of anything). Because it's funny watching a cat tapping the glass with it's paw trying to get the fish.

  • Good question! I would say it's more of a conceptual battle, or that the title is ironic or something. I think the reality is that Amanda, the cat, didn't really SEE the sea monkeys as they are pretty small and the tank is sort of "busy" with the small model city inside it. If they were a bit bigger, perhaps she'd have gone nuts for them.

  • Dun Dun Duuuuuuun!

  • Hey there!!!! Nice to see you at the birthday party/family reunion!!

  • how big is that Set?

  • the Sea-Monkey "city" tank is about 6 inches by 6 inches. (Is that what you were asking about?)

  • What happened to the rest of the video?

  • Youtube's compression messed it up somehow and it gets stuck at about 11 seconds in. Use the slider bar to skip ahead a bit.

  • I did that, but it just ends. cane you upload the rest of the video? I wanna see what happens next

  • Can you just drag the slider bar to about 0:20 (20 seconds into the video)? I tried that just now and it works. When I upload it, Youtube does its magic compression to it. If I just upload it again without changing it, the exact same problem should occur again. Next week when I have some free time. THanks for your patience!!

  • Thanks it worked!

  • I don't get it..

  • I hope Amanda is feeling better now. She's a gorgeous cat.

  • Thank you so much--she is doing much better, after a whole bunch of medication and regular feedings. She looks better, too, and her shaved areas are even growing back :-)

  • Thank you! She has had ups and down and is a bit down right now (bad hairball + dehydration and diarrhea---now THAT would make for a youtube video!!), but with some great vets, and a lot of home care, she is doing a lot better. She even began meowing again!

  • i have that exact same sea monkey tank

  • what happens when you run out of food?? i have sea monkeys and i don't know what to do when i run out of food

  • Hmmm, good question. You can order more food from the company that markets them. Mine actually all expired before I ran out of food--you really don't need to put much in.

  • This story has alot of plot holes and bad acting

  • I HAVE BIGGER SEA MONKEYS.. buh nice habitat xD

  • LAME!

THe video STICKS at 3.02! I WANT TO SEE THE ENDING! DIODOI

  • waterfall, wah-duh-fahw, wuh deh fu

  • is the sea monkey like a living thing or what?? What is it made of?

  • A "sea monkey" is a cute brand name for an actual living animal called "brine shrimp". Brine shrimp are not actually shrimp but are a relatively simple salt-water animal whose eggs can remain dry for long periods of time, and live in water that is too salty for most other kinds of animal life. They have 13 pairs of legs and black eyes (3 eyes initially, then the middle one falls off). "Sea Monkeys" were marketed to children in the back of comic books.

  • How cute! Is Catzilla a Maine Coon?

  • We don't know for sure, but she seems to be at least part Maine Coon--fluffy fur and tail, tufts of fur between the toes, likes to play in running water, and is a bit large for a female cat. But...some sad news...Catzilla (her real name--Amanda) is in the vet hospital with kidney failure. So send some good wishes her way...thanks.

  • actually, sea-monkeys are brine and fairy shrimp hybrids. and the eggs have some crystal stuff on the outside when u initially buy them to increase inactivity until immersed in water. oh and how is ur cat? I hope its ok cos mine died recently.

  • She's doing well, thanks. I think she's getting better medical care than I do! I'm so sorry to hear about your cat's passing away--it's tough to lose a constant companion like that. Best wishes, and I hope you get another furry friend soon.

  • okeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey

  • cuuute kitty and monkeys too!!

  • There's something out there! Something big and furry! On the outskirts of fair Sea Monkey City! I saw it!

  • Dear viewers, something is wrong with the encoding, and the video "sticks" at 00:09 right where there is a dissolve transition. If you drag the slider bar, you can skip over the "stuck" place (to 00:11 or beyond). I will attempt to fix this--sorry about it!
