Dry shave. Start the shaving with an upstroke. Finish like a normal shave.

No more shaving cream. Let it grow a little then cut it.

This will work. But you will get ingrown hairs. Use tweezers and fingers.

I have not seen Jacks book, which sounds good. Keeping healthy is certainly one way to look your best. I would like to add that if you dye beard hair darker it will look thicker, Colour the skin underneath (for a photo) it will look fuller and if you happen to have an excess of testosterone more hair will grow. The all time biggest factor in determining your hairyness is your genes, so most of us have to make the best of what we have already... ie cut your beard in a style thats best.

thanks for the hope but sadly though, my mom told me my dad didnt have a full beard til late 30's! and neither did my uncles, so i just hope i can grow some kind of cool style by like 20
