@Piranha722 what you did is alright, set a goal and stick to it a means to an end many times i'll play 1/2 nl start with $200 and go up quickly to $500 to $600 and i dont leave right after because i felt it was bad etiquette , and alot of times lose it all because i want to stay and not be rude. so now just a double up is fine with me so i can have a fun night out with friends buying drinks.

You know, Gabe Kaplan is saying: "Nit alert! Nit alert!" but KQs in the small blind against a very aggressive table is a standard fold. You have the BB still to act behind you, and flat-calling is asking to get squeezed. KQs isn't strong enough to re-raise, and you've gotten yourself heads up out of position if you do. Plus, you have the fact that if you do hit top pair, 2nd kicker, you have to worry about TPTK in addition to all the weird hands that pros can play deepstacked. Good fold.

I still remember my first 1/2 game ever, I bought in for min $60, avg stack of table was like $400 lol... So I told myself if I get to $150 I'd leave... and lo and behold, about 15 mins in I still have $53 or so and get AA, 3-way all-in, after tipping dealer and rake I have exactly $150. I'm dealt my next hand and get AK, fold and leave. It's called sticking to your rules. No shame in that. I knew I was outclassed at that table. This was 3 years ago and now I have different rules...

Folding KQs in the SB heads up against an UTG raise is actually the right move 100 bbs deep. But they are 250bbs deep and clearly gros was not just raising TT+, AQ+ from UTG which mike should have picked up on.
