@26libertarian The difference is that Paul buys the whole "free market" mythology, while Chomsky has a solid grounding in history and won't have any of it. Matter of fact those who call themselves libertarians but base their entire world view on property rights are basically rapists of libertarianism. The right to property is obviously radically different from other natural rights, and differently it should be treated. Real libertarians have understood this for the past 200 years.
Got to see Noam talk at the Opera House in Sydney-Breathtaking to say the least...We do use the term "Un -Australian" in the same fashion as the Americans do when a dissident questions social policy and planning the government....depressing but true.
What a great interviewer! He's done his research, he lets the man speak, he's polite, he doesn't inject his own ideas into the interview... I've never seen anything like it.
