I have broken both, and I would have to say the " Patio Block or End caps" do push back a little more, as far as a guess on force, I would say it's probably about a 2 to 1 ratio. I personally like these bricks because I am not small, and I like the space it gives me to place my strike (and they look more impressive to break) Good luck!

I thought at first they were the 8x16x2's. I might try some of those scalloped ones for hand techniques. Any idea how they compare in required force?
