hi redcomet, i'm no a PELE' fan and i admirer Maradona; not me but G. Rivera (greates italian player of all time tog .R.Baggio) said that PELE' invented soccer. not me but: Kruiff,Platini,Di Stefano,and many others said that PELE' better than Maradona.

If you see single actions both are equals in geniality and skills, but in entire game and for 20 years Pelè remain inarrivable!

I saw some Pelè action and really, impossible to conceive. What can i say? we only thanks God for Maradona and Pelè.

its kool i like pele and if you like football you have to respect him for all he did, personally I think maradona was better after seeing both pele videos and maradona videos. but thats just my own judgement. im just 1 fan like everyone else and its kinda hard if not impossible to say which is in the end "better" but i gain nothing in saying eighter is better, as i am not brazilian OR argentinian. and hold no grudge with either national team, so its all good pele was up there as maradona was

Di Stefano's never ever said Pele is better than Maradona but he did say the opposite. If you want the source, go to France Football Mag. When they asked him the five best players ever, he put in only on name that is "MARADONA". Baggio and Zidane all so picked Marado as the best.

uhm, i don't think so. Many Brasilian soccer stars who played with PELE' (like Garrincha, Didì, Altafini ecc) said that is very difficult to follow him and his genius for entire game, he makes all with perfection.

PELE' score 1.283 goals in 1.374 games (almost 1 goal in every game he has played).

maradona score 357 goal.

Infact, Kruiff said that PELE' is the only one over the limit of the logic.

PELE' really impossible to compare with any other.

Yes, PELE' better in dribbling in any case.

PELE' invented soccer (and modern soccer), his game vision, his phenomenal skill are unmatched.

For Kruiff, Platini (who played against Maradona in Italian championship) and Di Stefano, PELE' was better than Maradona.

In his auotobiography, Maradona said, the skills of PELE' was incomparable...!
