I worked on this production and found it amusing how much he fluffed his lines. he also sings a lot between scenes.

Nesbitt is quite sweetly encouraging with the interviewer who is obviously nervous; this is most evident when he pats her shoulder at the end. He also graciously accepts her statement that he is "lucky" to have done so well when, as cupid says, his success is about a lot more than just luck.
