  • Yeah in the past if you guys read the history. Right after the chinese(also called the Huaxia) won the final battle, they took hmong people as slaves. They split the slaves into 18 different groups. Thats why we wear the silver plate and necklace around our neck during the new year. Later, the hmong got free and banish from china. Some groups then split into clans. For example the Yangs. They were split into 9 different clans and the 9th is probably to most well known today. Thumbs up!!
