What in the world are you talking about? The Veyron pulls 0-60mph in ~2.7sec. The Ultima GTR is on par with it in that regard with even some of the most powerful engines in it pushing at least 600HP+.

I've actually gone through the Ultima Website and priced the whole works out. Including pretty much all the options it's 39,550 GBP, or $58,660. Tack to this the price of an engine. The Americaspeed dry-sump 383 with 640 HP is $20,250. Other engines can be sourced for a lot cheaper of course.

On top of that there are shipping charges.

The total is $78,910 + shipping + insurance inspections. It should still come in at under $90,000. Better value than a Viper or a ZR1. Faster too.

Also, I think it is around 89,000 for a GTR roller but that is pre-assembled by Ultima so you save a bit of money putting it together yourself. Please look into this stuff if you are thinking of buying one though. I haven't put one together or anything so there could be extra costs that I don't know about. Yeah, I am not really sure. I assume you have to have other wheels if you don't use Ultima's. Their price form is kind of unorganized and I don't care enough to tally everything up. I have seen build estimates anywhere from 75k to 90k on sites made by people that claim to have built them though. Hope that helps.

at the current exchange rate, it would be $23-$24 grand without the engine. there are defiantly enough Chevy guys out there with an old small block in their garage you could get from them for $1-$2 grand. the only thing that could really spike the price up is the total cost in freight to ship it State-side, and the cost to transport. it is actually your responsibility to pick it up from the port and have means to transport it to your home, being you transport it or pay a service to do it.

I like the concept of the ultima GTR. The fact you get to chose your power plant (assuming it bolts up to a G52 trans axle)makes it a car everyone can love.
