XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 Crysis Benchmark

damn, this was uploaded on my birthday t('o't)

but, there is a used 4890 on ebay for $99 and the seller has 100% positive feedback. Sound like a good deal? i'm ok with cleaning the dust out of it, and putting some AS5 on it if it runs too hot...

@SuperBJJray yeah i know they are still around, but not everywhere like they used to be, if you look around most of them have been discontinued, at least that is what it is like in the uk

@davidkerr7 yes sorry mate, most online shops have discontinued this card since the new 5xxx series came out. I think your best bet is to try and pick 1 up new from ebay. hope that helped :)

@thespartenkid well actually the 4890 is better than the 5770 even tho it is older. just because it is newer doesn't necessarily mean it is better

and if u have drivers 10.4 yes it is equal and in fututre it will smoke the 4890

as newer better drivers come out for it

@thespartenkid 1-2 fps better so...that is hardly anything and how do i know what settings you have yours set at, jeese. Dude if you want the facts go search for them. On paper they may seem very equal but when it comes down to the games the 4890 exceeds the 5770. Ok the 5770 can do dx11 and is cheaper but when buying the 4890 you spend more and get more performance 5770+128 bus 4890=256 bus.

@thespartenkid Google it you will see that the 4890 has an advantage over the 5770, In a half a year or a years time, yeah im sure the 4890 will become obsolete but for now for the price it is a great card (if you can find it) Now im not saying the 5770 is bad and in time with new drivers it may even pass the 4890 but for now the 4890 does perform better, "just stating the facts" now theres no need for insults is there.

@thespartenkid well i looked at you videos and i dont see any benchmarks of your 5770 in crysis only gameplay, go ahead and run a bechmark stick it up on utube and we will see.

@Bradster9528 yeah i have a few of those, the reason i recorded it with a camera is because i wanted to show what it looked like without any screen recorders holding back the fps.
