Love this man!Forever Phil <3 He was one of a kind!!!He touched the hearts of so many of us from all over the world!~ Saw him in 1980 that was the night i fell in love with him:) Cheryl xx
Thanks for sharing. Phil is such a charismatic person with such a unique one & only voice for thin lizzy. A Rocker of all time! I hope to see Brian Downey in Phoenix on October. A great legendary drummer to see.
saw gary moore at leeds in april . he was RUBBISH. not talking to the fans falling out with the rest of the band telling the fans to fuck off it was just a mess he as truned in to a twat . we paid £ 40 to see him what a wast
Damn ya'll, this sounds like one of mye riffs !!!! Eye'm probably gonna cover it(so look 4 it on ADGX:Coverz). It'll be updated to a more modern beat though, eye'm a "cross genre" cat.Did any1 notice the Platform Bootz ?
Really ? Eye haven't heard that yet(2 mye detriment).Isn't Wild One on there too ? I'tz a definative direction for them.Eye just got n2 T.L. 8mthz ago{which iz late and very stupid but eye ws raised on Classic Rock Radio, and all they played was The Boys Are Back}so a friend palyed T.L.'z Greatest Hitz and eye just LOST IT !!!!
Again thanks for posting this as have been searching for this and the rest of it for many years, please post "the Rocker" from this gig if you have it, remember it being amazing
I could be wrong, I'll have to double check... but I think this clip is actually from a concert in Detroit in '74-'75, while opening for Bob Seger. I have the complete show on MP3 (from the old Napster days)... not to mention, this definitely appears to be an "indoor" show. Not in an outdoor stadium...

Believe it or not but the management of the stadium wouldnt allow you stand up or get out of your seats.
Hitler would have been proud of them !

Check out Robbo's shoes man, 1:40: Far out!

too right, this song isnt supressed like alot of the early studio albums. Massacre is more powerful live.
Jaqshit 1 year ago
This is 1975, from that time record, and one of the great Thin Lizzy recordings...
I believe they should be part of the overall big times...the music is really on par with any group from the 60th or 70th...
