@mrcarbine541 I prefer the Sony Readers. They have more products/apps out and continually improve on the quality. You can find Sony readers that are cheaper that Kindles and the Sony products feature an Open Format while the Kindle works on a Proprietary Format. Lastly, the Sony seems to have a lot more cool features and they are connected directly to most public libraries which means you can get eBooks on your Sony reader for FREE!
