You should be releasing those big females. Otherwise the fishing will start getting worse and worse. Can't keep the prime spawners and expect there to be more fish next year.

hey thanks it was a pretty entertaining trip haha. the ice there was probably pushing 1 1/2 to 2 feet thick, and we where using shiners, there werent hitting quite as good on suckers. Goodluck and keep in touch!!!

there are alot of good spots up there, big fish are in big water, most of the inland lakes up there are FULL of hammer handle pike. I dont live up there but I'll hopefully be able to come up there in the spring for round too. If you want to meet up that shouldnt be a problem
