Thank you for sharing this. I've been trying to explain for years what he does in his sleep. It drives me crazy, but he has no knowledge of it.... so waking him up he's like "huh". And people look at me like I'm crazy while trying to explain...but now I've finally come across this PLMD information... and it makes perfect sense now. I believe this is what he has. And he also does the rocking, he kicks, twitches & jolts...and sometimes it's pretty violent.
While our movements don't look alike, I have RLS and PLMD, and have a video on here also. After more than a decade of various meds, I have been med free for 8 months by using a TENS Unit every night before bedtime. Good results and no side effects.
