@filip1408 Head South in Freedoms Reach (X3 reunion only), if you find no gate that means the mod didnt activate properly, and there should be a z95 for sale at the argon shipyard in Argon Prime,however that might be the TC version.

@hunterholb South of sector "Freedoms Reach" is a gate to a sector called "The Gate" which links you to all SW sectors where the ships can be found, the rar should have contained a map in it.

@stormtrooperge Hi, there are two versions of the Mod, one for X3 R and one for X3 TC, I currently only have the X3R Version in possession, the TC mod upload was corrupt, and the only working package is on a PC in another country right now which has no internet access, if i manage to get hands on it again it will not be any time soon.

@Brandono99 eh i never bought it anyway, this mod looks great but the laser speeds looked a lil slow, plus being unemployed can make it hard to buy games

@arcazxcc Whta did you patch X3 R to? 2.5?

if so, as you start up X3 the load screen pops up, on that screen if i remember correctly, you should have Start game/settings/modification

well in mods you have to highlight the mod, then start the game.

there should be a map in the mod package showing you where to find the SW ships , let me know if it doesnt work, ill reinstall the game and check myself.

@mikska yea patch 2.5. And I saw the mods list section but nothing was in it. I'll have to double check everything today when I get back home to make sure it's all in the right spot. All files just go in the root directory right? oh and I did make sure to install the game to c:\games instead of program files since I'm in windows 7 and I read that mods dont work in that default install

@arcazxcc Dont know anything about default install not running mods.

Just put Star Wars V0.2.1 PA Mod.cat and .dat into your X3R mods folder, and dump the Soundtrack folder into the default game installation folder, or just copy and past all sound files from the soundtrack folder and past them into the games soundtrack folder.

i packaged one too many of these mods so, some packages don't have the files in correct sub folders. just make sure the .cat and .dat files are in the mods folder.

@mikska ah, those 2 files aren't in a mods folder. must have missed that. I have the Xtended mod as well, and that one just has it's files in the games root folder. I'll move those and give it a shot. Thanks for the help and quick replies

@arcazxcc you may have to re-dowload the mod then, swmod021.rar, not Star Wars V0.2 PA (MS).zip

however the map for the new sectors is in the PA (MS).zip i can just email you a quick map

Had a working SSD, death Star was 80% complete, X3 Reunion Version worked the best, unfortunately all copy's of the Mod including on backup drive somehow got corrupted, the patched together version with 15+ working ships is on a PC in SA, I'm in Russia for quiet some time, I will attempt to get someone in SA to send me the mod so I can re-upload, if anyone has a working version please help out the guys that want it as I am unable at the moment.

Wish I had more time for this mod.

Best site for free users is defininelt Megaupload. They keep files for ages and they are super quick for downloading but a bit slow for uploading.

I really hope you keep working on this as it looks absolutely sublime and shows spectacular promise.

Your mod is not working. The zip package you uploaded will not install properly The folder /mods needs to be manually placed into the main game folder. Once there and selectable from the menu screen the game crashes to desktop.

This is with TC 2.0. How do I go about fixing that?

In TC version the problems so far.

1.Y-Wing turret not firing.

2.Cockpits crash the game when exiting shit (cockpits removed).

3.could no create new sectors, using original game sectors.

4.SFS (tie lasers) still show up on rebel ship weapons list.

5.cockpit view positioning somewhat wrong but its playable.

6.some weapon sounds not working ????.

7. game freezes when docking for the second time in Alliance sector, to dock with other station you would have to leave the sector and then return

Its straight forward just dump the files in your mods directory, if you have the correct version that is.

For the Starwars universe, the lazers are slow.

Yeah, but it gives you time to dodge. Just think about that, when a bigass laser comes in your way, and you will die instantly from that.

Due to major problems with VISTA, 3dsmax, and DBOX ( the only tool available for model conversion) being compatible with each other, work has been halted until release of proper pluggins or modding tools.

I will release a pre alpha of this mod as you see it on the vid, give me an idea of a good place to post it and I'll get it out by the 1st of November.

yes this mod looks fantastic!!! I like the shiny effects but i think maybe the lasers could be a little faster as some have pointed out. I would buy this game from you when it comes out. It's by far the nicest looking star wars mod i've ever seen. Hell it looks better then any other lucasarts game i've ever seen.
