I just got Gimp, and I tried to follow where you enlarged the work area from a small square to full screen, you work so fast it was hard to see where you clicked. Good vid tho! I'll watch again! :)

@desertfox1792 Its the layer tab when you're doing work that needs to include layers. To open go to Windows > Recently closed

@SoraCloud9 Well you switch the layers round. There should be a layer window open on your gimp. To get the picture on them, select the layer with the picture and move it above the others, or if it's on the same layer, you'll have to dublicate it, rub out the bits you dont want and that's how you get it on the second layer

@TwilightPixies Well My advice is to delete gimp and re-install it. It could possibly mean that there is a newer version of gimp and in it's own words it's saying 'Get that'

how did you get the pic at the beginning to like zoom into that littlier window, and so the black lines don't get colored over? I have such horrible eyesight I can't see which options you clicked on. Please tell me, so far,this has helped me ALOT. THANKYOU for taking the time to post this :) ^^

@RabidWildDog What you do is you put a colouring layer behind black lines so you can colour behind them. To zoom in hold ctrl and scroll with the mouse

@owenmf You need to download a higher resolution picture, but it will happen if you zoom in on any picture because you are expanding each pixel.. I don't think it can be fixed, sorry :/

@StolenEyelids The white blank box or the grey checkered box? To get the white box, you go to file>new and create a new document to draw with, or to get the grey checkered box you need to go to Layer>Transparency> Colour to Alpha :The grey checkered box is only to show transparency so you can see the things put behind a certain object or help colour behind something if you set that layer to transparency.

@TheSquishyfishy77 You need to go on File > New and then draw. Also if it doesn't pop up, make sure there are any 'Okay' boxes you need to click. If there are anymore problems, you'll have to get someone who's a genious with drawing on Gimp XD
