@moose3971 Due to LJ's heavy work schedule it may be modified some. We went to a restored 20s car park in Aurora this summer. It was used on the old Lincoln Highway. It's posted on my channel here.
@moose3971 I go to bed around 11pm and get up around 6am. I just have my computer in the main room so I see my email notices pop up during the day unless I am out riding or doing a side job.
I do! :) Yeah Chuck, I can send you the footage from my memorial day trip back to Indy, I was on Linconway for 40 some miles until just south of southbend. :) It is yours for the project. :)
There's a route 30 near me that goes through Lancaster, PA. Is that the same route 30? The thing about it is, it splits in one place for an expressway and business 30.
Yes It is the same Rt. 30 that runs coast to coast. Look on wikipedia for Lincoln Highway and Route 30. They follow roughly the same path with some exceptions in places. See if you can see in your area interesting history along either path and join us next year when we start the project.
Awesome! I can take I-495 to get there the quickest. I-495 locally known as "The Blue Route" because of the color used on the map with an ink pen when proposing several routes to link I-95 to the PA turnpike.
I can easily record a portion of Rt 30 for your project and send it to you in HD format.
Then the Lincoln Highway project with LJ and I will probably start next year and be an ongoing thing mixed with regular vlogs. It won't hurt my feelings if you skip it because it's not what you are into.
Im confused. Let me try to understand better. The highway (coast to coast) is going to be finished is 2013. If so i just dident listen clearly. I am enjoying it by the way.
Lincoln Highway was started in 1913 as a highway made of various roads connecting the east coast to the west coast. It would also be marked properly so people could use it. The route of travel has changed many times over the years and now is mostly Route 30 but not entirely.
Go to wikipedia and search for Lincoln Highway for lots of detail. It is a project LJ and I are scouting out to do as a travel series next year.
I made a couple of vids saying I wanted to see more women biker vloggers. Right after that LJ contacted me and told me she was moving to the Chicagoland area.
I would check out the American Parkour website if I were you. It's AmericanParkour, followed by a dot. And then, you know, the com. I have to disguise that I'm giving you a link. Silly youtube.
Boy, I'm not even entirely sure I want to see your footage. haha.. My parkour was rather mediocre that day. But I was having fun. That's the main thing! (And you sure now how to string along your subscribers! haha)
I love seeing another POV! So fun. It fills in gaps, and is just cool in general. I love how completely different our trains of thought are the entire time.
I can't wait to do this series, though. It's a fantastic idea!
Yes it would. I don't know if my budget or time would allow for that but possibly someone could. Maybe also a kind of hand off tag on the different state lines and another group rides on. Lots of ways to do this and things to think of.
also I have pronounced it as "Park Our", until I heard you say it as "Par Kour" Thanks. I remember as a kid jumping around in the barn from beam to beam and swinging on ropes...I called it playing!! LOL So now if someone asks how I got that scar on my leg I can say I was Pa kouring and missed!!!!! LOL
I think the route 30 videos are a great idea. Here in PA it runs through the southern part of the state, and I know there some places along it with cool history and some unusual attractions. In fact I was looking for info on them just the other day.
That's pretty funny about the recording thing. I'm always taking pictures of my hand.
Never had that happen before, your question who wants to see LJ Parkour, and I just wrote, "ME". Popup said that it was to short and needed to write more? LOL
Is this still something that you are thinking about doing. It sounds interesting

Anyway, it's not far north of me.

Ummm.....
Are you growing tired of it?
Or enjoying it?
This series has maybe two more parts to it.
Then the Lincoln Highway project with LJ and I will probably start next year and be an ongoing thing mixed with regular vlogs. It won't hurt my feelings if you skip it because it's not what you are into.

True I didn't do an overall explanation. Sorry.

On other people's videos I love the spontaneous moments most of all.

Funny thing. That's exactly how I found LJ. I was searching for traceuses.

We are rare (both as vloggers and traceuses), but we are out there!
Not that I would ever complain about being outnumbered. Better odds. LOL

I love it! The first seedling mile of the Lincoln Hwy! In 2013, I'd love to do some kind of group ride. Count me in!
I'm going to have to Google Parkouring.
Am I officially out of the age-specific loop now?
;-D

I'm answering this based on a comment Laurie made on another vid where she said Parkour is for everyone.
I am guessing that in my case that would be a lot more limited in moves than a typical 18 year old.

Thanks for the "connection," LJ! :-D
Wow, that looks painful if you get it wrong. But it certainly looks amazing, even superhuman!

Yes, I noticed a lot in your second part that we pay attention and focus on different things a lot.
That is why it will be so great to work together on this project.

Riding the whole Lincoln Hwy from beginning to end would be an interesting Ride :-)
Waiting for Part 3 ;-)

I guess so.
Now in this case Laurie is the expert and I am the noob.
Well actually I am less than that.
More like a spectator.
