I do feel bad for children of gay familys, because a father does so much for a family, and mothers do too. You need both. I mean broken familys are so encouraged these days anyway. I plan to marry my boyfriend of soon four years next year. I can do that since we live in Sweden. I can go into any large church and marry and gain exactly the same rights as everyone else. This shouldn't be something wierd, or strange, but for some reason there are few countries where we could do that.

The plain and simple truth is that there are so many important reasons to be for gay marriage, and so few to be against it. If you really cared about family values, you'd look at the picture at 1:45 and immediately be for equal rights. I do feel bad for children of gay familys, because a father does so much for a family, and mothers do too. You need both. I mean broken familys are so encouraged these days anyway. There are so many single parents already, divorced parents, broken families already, why not just encourage it even more right....Normalcy is whats important right? The normal mentality is: Forget the kid,As long as the parents are happy.....sad

@xkaleymoneyx um right. i dunno about you but i would rather grow up with two dads or two moms instead of none. there are so many orphans out there who just want a loving home. abusive parents are allowed to have children. people who don't want children are allowed to have children. gay parents are two loving adults who want children - that's why they want to adopt. and yet it is so difficult for them to adopt. adoption agencies make sure there is a role model of the other gender for the kid.

@m4nu78 The governor issued an executive order keeping couples who had already been married, as married. Starr attempted to revoke that, but was blocked. Prop 8's constitutionality is going through the courts.

I plan to marry my boyfriend of soon four years next year. I can do that since we live in Sweden. I can go into any large church and marry and gain exactly the same rights as everyone else. This shouldn't be something wierd, or strange, but for some reason there are few countries where we could do that.

The plain and simple truth is that there are so many important reasons to be for gay marriage, and so few to be against it. If you really cared about family values, you'd look at the picture at 1:45 and immediately be for equal rights. I think the most important family value is respecting one another, respecting one another's families, and never taking away someone's right to have exactly what you have.
