Can I ask where you live? I've just planted one of these tubers (a bit bigger than a cricket ball and it is putting up runners already! Also 3 out of 4 eddoes I planted in pots are up as well. I grow elephant ears as well and I think they're all pretty mcuh related. I'm in shropshire U.K. I grow tropical stuff, gingers, abutilons, echiums, bananas etc
