  • You could hear that mess from 15 blocks away....

Did you all get the change you wanted?

  • @solegitimange it's coming as long as we keep your gop from tricking america that they could do a better job when they got us in the situation we're in in the first place.

  • @Ayyube i agree

  • crazzzy cool i rem this

  • makes hating niggers all the more easy

  • This is so sad...

  • Richmond is a scummy fucking city. Congrats you stupid monkeys, YOU STILL ARE POVERTY STRICKEN, HES NOT GIVING YOU ANYTHING.

  • A black pentecostal church right across the road from me was cheering all night about the election. They were shouting that McCain was a "weak white man" and acting like they were speaking in tongues. Nobody could get any sleep. Of course, most of the people staying up celebrating didn't have jobs to go to and are inconsiderate of those who have to get up early in the morning to go to work.

  • gross niggers...looks like an ant hill. makes your skin crawl too cause you know how dirty they all are

  • I just love how, when it's a group of African Americans and other minorities it's a "Mob", If McPlain had won, and it was a group of whites, what would it have been called?

    Were there any arrests?

    Were any cars overturned?

    Were there any injuries?

It looks peaceful enough for me!

  • hmm... somebody gave you a thumbs down...

Who did?? Speak out ya bastards!

  • the youtube video titled "the McCain palin mob" got over TWO MILLION views on youtube. so u don't make any sense

  • epicwin i got a oneway ticket for you to canada. Or shut your mouth.

  • thats nice of you but i think ill stick around and wait until obama pays my mortgage

  • golddigger

  • Look at all the koolaid addicts.

  • those are VCU students in one of the most diverse college campuses in the country you ignorant clown.

  • excuse me let me clarify. look at all the diverse koolaid addicts.

  • why don't you move to canada now!!!!

  • OBAMA!

  • Oh man, I was there! XD

Well, I was staring out a window like you guys. It was crazy down there. I was afraid to go outside!

  • Actually, they're technically the winners.

  • good to see americans coming together. even if its for something fake like obama or mccain! haha. the ron paul revolution march... now thats history. thousands of people marching on washington. or marching on the RNC. THATS history. not a bunch of brainwashed idiots

  • I was there and part of history..November 4th, 2008..where were you when America elected Barack Obama? I was with most of America that night..celebrating.

  • I WISH WAS THERE! that must a been a hell of a party!!!

  • I can't remember an American election where people all over the nation were dancing in the streets celebrating the results. This is just wonderful to see. Thank God for Barack Obama for bringing hope to America. And as to the Republinuts and racists who are trying to portray this as something bad - you are pathetic. You lost. Get over it!

  • look at all the people who didn't rly think about wut obama stands for and would rather "Barack" the vote or vote just because hes black and watch america burn then actually think about it and help build america

  • Hmmmmmm...I don't see any looting, cars being overturned, fires breaking out, or even windows being broken. This isn't even close to a riot.

  • I have to agree, there is no sign of a riot there. It seems that people were exercising their right to free speech while we still have it. I would have to ask though, what kind of "change" is Obama going to bring to America? If someone could give me his definite plan that would be great.

  • virginia! finally you crossed-over....its about time

  • It's = it is. And for the record, there were tons of cursing and wasted people. No one has said it was violent. And sorry if I use words that are a bit too large for your comprehension. Look them up. And lack of punctuation was a few commas that made the post too long. Figured literates could get by.

  • Yes, this is very reminiscent of Hitler. We're all doomed.

  • Oh stop! The president has always been a puppet. The real guys pulling the strings won't let the country implode on itself.

  • Everyone went out in the street because they were happy and wanted to share in the exitement. Much of the VCU community experianced the crushing disapointment of voting for kerry and feeling like their vote was for not. Obama's victory renewed our trust in our voting system and government. This wasnt a "mob" or a "riot" it was simply people coming together to share in their exitement. The police helped block off streets so the march could pass without anyone harmed. It was cool!

  • yeah man i was a vcu student during the kerry disappointment

  • Yes, Kerry was a disappointment. Thank God he was not elected.

  • I sorry that you feel that way mach3moe and i believe you have me misunderstood...I was disappointed that he was not elected.

  • I can agree with the others that took part in our march of unity on Broad St It was wonderful as we marched with pride ! Eyes full of tears & heart full of Love and happiness

  • Yay! I was in that mob!

  • this reminds me of hitler so much. OBAMA GO! raise our taxes! take from the rich give to the poor! Decrease jobs! Bankrupt our buisnesses! And drive our economy to the ground! YAY OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA

  • hello, clueless!

  • I cant believe I missed this, I was downtown at toads, but I ran into the blocked off broad st while trying to get on 95

    Obama!!!!! Yes we have!!!!

  • the impromptu march down Broad Street went off with no arrest and no porblems. It was completely peaceful.

  • oh my god, it was absolutely amazing! it felt so good to partake in this!!!

  • Wow your that upset that Obama won that your still going with that whole terrorism, middle east, "the world is over" thing. I thought you would have figured out that didn't work. Please stop injecting fear into things that need not be feared. The years of bush fear mongering are over. Give up.

  • you're fucking ridiculous. we were all chanting out of pure happiness and support for our new president. it was absoultely amazing.

  • Was there!

Chills though? This is happiness, relief and love for what has happened. This is history now.

And remember McCain supporters, Obama is YOUR president now too. So get behind him, or your UNAmerican.

  • Is there any chance you could repeat that in English? It was quite the most unintelligible, rambling nonsense I've read since browsing through a GWB policy document. The odd smattering of punctuation would have been nice. Bye now Rambo.

  • IT's is not IS..... rambo

  • Someone sounds like they don't have a life. I feel like you're bitter about seeing a crowd of people, who were actually not doing anything wrong. There was no scene of violence, but you would put something positive down.

  • FOR THE RECORD! For those of you who were not there, I just want to set it strait. People were not drunk, cursing, or violent in any way. That crowd was just happy. Its sad that this spontaneous outburst of joy happens so seldom that it is unrecognizable and rejected as lunacy by those who gain from doubting its legitimacy.

  • people celebrating gives you the chills? it's scary? are you retarded in any way?

  • you too, are fucking stupid. had you been there, you would have felt the mood of the whole ordeal. it was praise for our new president. stop being so fucking closed minded.

  • if you're calling me stupid, then you read my post wrong. this was amazing. i was in the middle of all this with everyone, losing my mind! truly a night i'll never forget.

  • It's spelled R-E-L-I-E-F. People have been waiting to exhale for eight long years under this repressive regime. They are entitled to let it out. It didn't harm you; they were simply chanting and marching. Why do you hate America?

  • I WAS THERE!

  • I was there from when this first started. It was amazing to see small groups of happy people become a parade of thousands. I never thought I'd be proud to be a Virginian!!Go Obama!!

  • i was there. this was amazing. ill never forget.

    its history in the making!

    :D

  • this will forever be a big changing point in history

  • YES I WAS THERE

  • awesome

  • obamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • lol redneck get over it u lost and now no one fives a fuck about what u think
