BlackLotus, Blurpi, Botanikox, COMBO(ClanDragonX), HolyHexor, Say43Plz, SogoTheWayoftheNinja, Spirit Elegy, and totallnewbie. All these guys endeavored to showcase amazing players and teamwork. This video feels like it's attempting to showcase amazing editing. Clean scenes, thoughtful transition, hype music, zooms to show the little things, slow-mo for the jaw-dropping. That's all you need.

The editing takes away the "WHOA" moment in the epic scenes. Also I find the editing cool and nice to watch because of the colors and nice music but i have to be honest here it just doesn't fit in a dota movie. As someone said earlier this editing is more fitting to the fps genre.

Conclusion: Great editing etc but it just doesn't fit with dota.

aight sorry for the spam. i'd just like to point out that the parts that starts with musiq, that's an example of how smooth the camera movement should be. and i know this movie consists of parts by different editors, but i find the music change too quick and there is no overall flow of the movie

oh and i just realized most of your scenes look like they have choppy framerate because the camera movement isn't smoothed out enough. if it's the camera program's fault, then i suggest you guys take a static camera angle or sth. srsly shit looks choppy as the surface of mars

if you want over-edit, i suggest you ramp everything up to the point where all scenes look 30fps.

and the parts which are actually ramped looked like shit because they're overdone to the point where the heroes look like they're having seizures and that just destroys the overall smoothness that ramping should achieve you.

and i know i'm nowhere near as good as you guys, but i can't call overdose of CC and different camera angles well edited. peace

(in fact i understood every single scene. if you don't, well.. you're either blind or not good enough at dota.. srsly... or both)

Well, I, unlike most people that have commented will give you some constructive critique. Based on what the dscription was its safe to say that you have acheived your goal - this really is a nex experience and I personally enjoyed it. On a more critical note, I don't really think DotA is the game with which you want to be doing this. I mean in the sense that it just look a tad too overedited. On the whole I really enjoyed the video and I hope my comment helps you guys out. 8.5 / 10 :)

Having in mind the styles of the editors included in this video I think they did a pretty good job. I understand some of the scenes are a bit confusing on the first look, but try watching the video again ang again and each time you'll find more and more things - thats what i like about this video :) We all are not perfect and we learn everyday smth new and it is fair to say that these editors have learned a lot since their first dota movies :) #shoutout to DPteam: sometimes simplicity is the key

Its really hard to tell whats happening sometimes less is more. We know you are good at editing but this switching scenes every 0.5 seconds is way to much you shouldnt have to struggle to see wtf is happening.

I know this is your " style " but it sucks. try letting the skilled moves of the players tell the story instead of adobe after effects.
