    Simple and good advice.

    I used to be a skeptic about canned (not frozen) fruits and veggies, b/c I thought the nutritional content was significantly lower than their fresh counterparts. Although there may be less vitamins due to heat from the canning process...

    ...the minerals (zinc, magnesium, calcium, etc), as well as the phytochemicals (which aren't on nutrition labels btw), are retained. Most ppl take vitamins supplements nowadays, so it's not so bad to eat canned produce. :)
