It sucks that they waste theyre time singing about love and sex and stuff. I wish that they would write some political stuff like, "The government is keeping us down, sorta stuff that will have a positive impact on this country.
There are other queer bands out there that do that, believe it or not. I don't see anything wrong with PD mostly doing fun songs, we should be able to have gay bands that can write about "mundane" topics without being defined by politics, as well as those that do deal with that.
@GreenDayfan21100 Probably because it would narrow their audience. I'm completely straight but still love this band. If they got too political they'd probably lose quite a few of fans, if only because they'd become much harder to relate to for a lot of people.
