Well, this (the Wash) is how I shuffle cards because I'm not convinced that any other method produces sufficiently random results and apprently the experts think so too because the Wash is, according to Wikipedia, a common method for dealers at Casinos to randomise a brand new deck, where the deck comes packaged in order by suit and by number...
