my hair is dyed blonde and i want it out but i want my natural color back because the dye has made my hair fall out i cut the ends off. if i dye my hair back black would that change anything?
whaaaaaaaaaaat i have to go to a salon? I Dyed my hair black... and want to go a chestnut warm brown? but would i have to buy a lighter shade to get this result instead of a chestnut brown dye kit? because the colour i dyed it before that was ebony black. AND I CANT GET IT OUT :'( replies prrrrrlease.
@xxShItCoOLxx if you go to a boots store, they have a colour remover that should take it out as long as the dye does not have silicone in it (if it never said on the box that it is a waterproof dye or basically if it is a xxl live colour) that should take it out
Dying black hair isnt best done at a salon, because i have dark brownish black hair and i got my hair done at a salon. i wanted a lighter color that people would able to see. but the lady failed and messed up my hair. my hair was still dark. plus she thined my hair and gave me layers, messed up my hair, it was so uneven! absurd
I can say from personal experience be extremely careful when going from black to blonde. I know most people know that...but I tried to go too blonde too quickly and my hair literally fell out. It had damage from previous dyes...and it fell out completely. And this was even at the salon.
@sungerful I don't know about temporary blonde...because black is sooo hard to cover. To my knowledge there is no way to go temporarily blonde from dark hair because the dark pigment is so hard to cover. :( It may be different for naturally dark hair though. Mine had a lot of layers of color so it was super difficult to go back to blonde. I am naturally very very blonde, it is finally coming back in blonde but only because I have left my hair alone for a while and I am just letting it grow in
>.> bleaching and dying your hair is very damaging , which is why she promotes you to go to a salon, where a professional can determine what is needed to do your hair with less damage as possible. Or even if your hair is healthy enough to dye it.,
of course you can do it your at home, but some people without training will damage the hell out of their hair...
..... but eh, lol its your hair fry it as you please:).
There only saying you need to go to a salon for business reasons. Bullshit. If your hair is black, simply get a blonde shade and dye it. It'll bring it up to a light-medium brown.
i have dyed my hair black so many times and to get it brown at home all i do is buy the lightest blonde hair dye they have... it easily lifts my color to a medium brown.. so easy love it this bitch is lying lmao
HI!!! is is truuueee???? if I have black or very dark brown DYED hair and if i put a very light blond becomes a medium brown?is true is trueee :'( thanks!
no that's not true about if u have colored black hair u have to go to a salon my natural hair is verry dark brown and i dyed it jet black and then i bleached apart of my hair twice and its blondish orange i just have to put toner in it so the girl ether didnt know what she was talking about or was lying
this is for asian most of the time, cuz every asian has black hair right? xD, but anyway i use a dye called "Gatsby dye" which contains bleach and dye XD
its not impossible to get black out,i dyed my hair black and now medium dark brown,i didnt want to bleach it or get it stripped so what i did was bought blond colour (NOT BLEACH) and i dyed it like twice a week and gradually my gair started to get lighter,, now i have stopped dyin it that colour and everytime i wash it it gets lighter everytime.try it takes a patience, ur hair isnt going to turn light from black that easilly unless you want to badly damage it and get it bleached or stripped :)
no it isnt,,,bleach kills the hair from root to to tip,,,applying normal blonde hair colour not bleach slowly lightens your hair without damagin hair as much as you would with bleach,,,i am sayin this because i have done that and i have good feed bak on my hair and how health it is
/my hair is dies black i want to get a few peek aboos like maybe dark blond and i was was wondering if i could bleach it at home and will it turn to that nasty orangy color
Generally, like $100 or more. You're paying for them to remove the color and recolor your hair to cancel out the red/orange tones that will be present once the dye is removed.
in my humble opinion it's better that your brother waits for at least 2 years before colouring, but in the meantime, there are lots of good not-permanent-colours, which are economic & healthy...go for Garnier or L'oreal for instance, good quality, little price.
All in all. your bros could also dye a portion of the hair with Garnier Highlights Kit, I've often used it, it's safe & esy, you can find it in local stores...Good Luck!! ;-P) Bye
My brother is 13 and wants to dye his hair from brown to black, but our mum doesn't know weather it's a good idea because it might ruin his hair. Doos anyone have any advice? Should he use semi-perminent dye?
The best hair dye to darken hair is called "bigen" a powder based, japanese unlike regular hair dyes, this does NOT contain ammonia or peroxide, (which are very damaging ingredients ) u mix the powder with regular water and apply, and in 30 min u get beautiful shiny black hair.. i dont know if its available on the UK, but u can search on beauty supplies or on the internet. Or u can tell your mom to search on the internet for you, good luck!
you can lift black at home with 40 vol. and bleach..i know bc i have dyed blk hair and i put my own red highlights in all the time..stupid lady...plus you can do it yourself for 20 dollars instead of 100

it depends on what type of hair too. bleach is good for thick hair. it doesnt do much damage to it.
