the instrument is lower than hell and the tones sound scratcy or raspy on a regular video camera.

if all these videos were recorded with cameras equiped with top of the line sound recording systems, then it would sound just as good as it does in person.

I'm sorry guys but that sounded terrible. There was no quality sound coming from any of those tubas (as far as i can tell from the recording). Honestly, blasting notes does not make you a great/good band. If you could play loud and with control, that is a different story.

Its the same basic concept with trumpet playing, it doesn't matter how high your range is if you cannot play a single technical passage.

corps style band is completely different from the high step or "show band" style. Corps style is alot more technical, high step is more to entertain and enjoy.

Plus you can get into* the high step more than corps style.
