1999 F150 4.6l Ford Racing Exhaust

I have the same truck but ext cab and i was won dering do you have the cats deleated or not and howmuch did it cost i am looking to get a exhaust for it and was looking to take out the cats but dont want it oo loud yours sounds perfect

@hooey6 Mine does have a nice mellow sound, louder/deeper than stock but not crazy loud. It is stock manifolds and cats with the Ford Racing (Borla) cat-back. My buddy has headers and high flow cats on his 5.4l and it barks. I paid under $300 for it shipped and it's holding up nice.

Cherry bombs and flowmaster are loud but they sound like shit. Magnaflow sounds way better then flowmaster or cherry bomb.

Its a quiet exhaust, but it sounds fairly good when he revs it up. Thats true it depends what exhaust you put on what truck and all that other good stuff like cats and what not. I guess I like a good deep rumble, more then a real loud crackly exhaust. Thats just my opinion though.

regular cab flareside and it sounds kinda lik that but a litte louder and wanna make it sound stronger

Not much you can do with the stock manifolds and cats but the Magnaflow is a little louder than this and adding high flow intake (I run AF1) can increase sound slightly as well. Otherwise your looking at headers and high flow cat to do it right.

i installed my K&N fipk intake when i had straight pipe...it made the truck sound complete....really hear it inside the cab

back firing, mmmm, some exhaust do that, my 99 5.4 supercab flareside does that and has been tuned already, i got headers and single cats, no mufflers, here in tx police and emmission don't care 4 mufflers, plus it sounds bad ass wean ur street racing.

Well the exhaust is made by Borla but sold under the Ford Racing license through Ford. Most after market exhausts have some sputter when high revving with a tune or not and when I get the time and money it will get a tune. If your going to bash people I would "tune" your English skills. It doesn't look that good when you bash someone and word things the way you do.

Flowmasters sound pretty good but never seem to perform well on the dyno in the power department (at least on Fords).

Flowmasters dont really perform well on anything. There actually pretty restrictive, They sound good though, thats why i have them on my car.
