  • @ChaoticElegy That's like saying a PS3 controller is like a Nintendo 64 controller. Just because they picked the same ergonomic design doesn't make them ripoffs. Hell, joysticks have similar designs, the Wiimote (and Sixense) are essentially joysticks which aren't attached to a surface.

  • Anyone else think that the Wii although not the best console but opened a whole new group of great Ideas? psMove and now this. I can't wait to get this! It will bring back the fun of playing left4dead2 for the first time because it will be completely different!

  • @Xenonix223344 Considering is it substantially more precise than the move, and doesn't require a silly webcam or the controller to have a mo-cap ball on the end of it, I would disagree.

  • Looks great, aside from the fact that aiming seems to get unbound from the motion controls while using melee, meaning that melee turning/aiming is limited to the joystick, reminding me distinctly of the somewhat broken melee combat system used in Penumbra: Overture. :P Perhaps the extra articulation that the motion controls offer in melee combat makes up for this, but I, for one, will need to reserve judgement until I actually get the chance to try it myself.

    try using a melee weapon and slash the controller into the air really fast so we can see if the melee weapon ingame will slash fast too...

  • I'm a bit unimpressed with the slow and crude turning, and while it certainly looks cool it doesn't seem as accurate or effective as just using a simple mouse & keyboard.

  • look at the Crunchgear reviews the Razer Motion Sensing Technology on the Sixense Site, its far too Slow...not accurate enough...the PS3 Motion thing looks better
