  • Where is "I'll keep holding on"? I liked that part....

  • @jriley1992 He didn't write that bit until the Simply Red days.

  • @genesisisok Oh ok, cool. Didn't know that, awesome!

  • Brilliant version, i am going to check out their other stuff

  • Love the vocals on this. But the way it's been described in the biographies was that it was a punk record, maybe I've got it wrong here. But awesome version!

  • hi, gary livesey here, i was their roadie at that time, kev me old schoolmate was the drummer! we supported bands like the skids and simple minds at the hammersmith palais to hazel o conner at the breaking glass tour at leeds! check out simply mick the book which will inform you.

  • Frantic Elevators are my favourite band ever. I played in a punk band around the same era and we did several gigs with them. This is their best recorded song but they also had several other great songs. I'm fortunate enough to have a live recording of them at Devilles in Manchester

  • Is that the recording of "Here I am, I'm Back Again"? The response from the audience was quite something!

  • Thanks for posting. Had never heard this version before.

  • It's a full gig with 17 songs. Here I am and back again is one of them
