  • Thank you. You're most kind. :-)

  • You are most beautiful and do a beautiful job.

  • Your han'eri should have been higher in front geikos don't show that much skin in front... But we can all see you really enjoy dancing and that you try your best~ Good luck~!

  • @xxHartBrokenxx Thank you ♥

  • @xxHartBrokenxx

Are you really sure? This is a piece of art and even geiko transform into different danceroles in different plays. I´ve seen geiko san wearing kimono the same for this part! Beautiful!

  • @ZASSHIN You could be right. BTH I saw your vids. Very interesting. Lucky you to be living in Kyoto ♥

  • @xxHartBrokenxx The shape of Eri becomes different every time I put the kimono on :( Some Geisha do wear Han-eri low though. Thank you very much for your comment. ♥

  • good effort. keep practicing. don't give up. がんばってね!

  • @teamshintaichi Thank you ♥♥♥ Please have a look at recent one. Search for "Japan Matsuri 2010 - Part one".

  • The way to move the foot is not correct.

It is necessary to flex one's knees more.

  • @yeongja1

Thanks for your comment. However, as I wrote on the title-role, this is my only 5th presentation and I do make mistakes. that's why I asked to people to view it kindly. I am aware I'm far from perfect!

  • are you really a geiko or just acting like one

  • I'm only a disciple of Japanese Dance and this clip is my 3rd year.

However, I occasionally get hired for receptions and festivals as I learnt to put kimono and make up myself.

Real Geishas need other people doing that for them.

  • I thought Kurokami ment "black God".

  • "Kami" can mean many other things in Japanese.

  • @pussygon I see

  • Is this a Japanese ritual or traditional folk dance?

  • @SunnieDae1

It is a traditional Japanese dance. Not folk dance, more theatrical.

  • wow! you're very talented! I loved watching this! thanks for posting it!

  • You are very kind! Ookini (Thank you in Kyoto direct.).

  • Hi Anna, Thank you very much for your kind comment. I study under Sensei Tanaka of Wakayagi-ryu. All the best, Gonta

  • Not bad at all. It's a tough dance. Which dance school are you studying under? If you have any details I'd gladly spread the word, Kurokami is a very popular dance amougst geisha and kimono fans all over the world.
