  • <3 love it! candy2

  • Love this

  • Has a very mesmerizing, ancient sound.

    Love the drone.

    Love the voice.

Don't understand a single word being said, but that's alright.

I imagine--judging by the tone--that a profound revelation or story is being told, and the tone has to reflect that.

I seem to be the only white man around who likes this.

  • Shiva Manas Pujas. Eu amo de paixão este mantra. Um dia eu vou a India, nem que seja bem velhinha.

  • I'm not Indian or anything, but I'm in love with their culture and their food as well as their music. When I heard this nearly half a year ago, I was able to finally meditate calmly to this and all the other songs in the album.

Now, finally being able to find the lyrics, I can sing to it! x3

  • Duper your ignorance and lack of appreciation of Shiv Bhagwan is because you lack dispine in your thoughts and daily way of life. Disrespecting any religion is wrong. At least take sometime to read about the significance.

  • @DupersFucker welcome to Shiva Manas Puja

Whether one does good or bad acts, there is no escape from their consequences. Knowing this, our ancients always sought what was good and auspicious. This is the meaning of the worship of Shiva.

  • @DupersFucker Why Fear When I Am Here?

  • very good video thanks for uploading.

  • || Om Namaha Shivaya ||

Only small correction in the beginning.... it is MaaNasam instead of MaaSanam.

  • @shivrajvishnu

It is Maasanam. Giving him the throne to sit, embedded with jewels.

  • @vijlak28 - thank you.

  • @shivrajvishnu

It is Maasanam. Giving him the throne to sit, embedded with jewels.

  • @vijlak28 - thank you for correcting.

    Is it "Kalpitam Aasanam" ?

Is there any Sanskrit word as Maasanam.

  • @shivrajvishnu

yes it is aasanam and combines with kalpitam, it becomes kalpitamaasanam.

  • @shivrajvishnu your comment "All religious fellows from all religion sucks big time."

    What exactly is your duty?

  • @4bbc - hey you G. Venkataraman, why are you here polluting the youtube space? You are paid heavily to erase the frauds committed by your baba that are exposed on internet.

You never answered strait. If you have forgotten, here are few first questions: Why can't your baba produce food grains instead of useless ash? Why can't he materialize next version of iPad/iPhone/Droid ?

  • @shivrajvishnu If you have the strong desire to see God, contemplate on Him with un-wavering faith.

  • @shivrajvishnu In almost every town in India, Sri Sathya Sai Organisations are carrying out charitable activities for the welfare of the needy. Some of the activities undertaken are:

Polio, blood donation, eye screening camps ,etc.

Visits to hospitals, leprosy homes, maternity homes with food, clothes,

Distribution of clothes and food to the poor

    Rehabilitation for orphans

    Village upliftment.

    Educational scholarships to the disabled.

Services to people in times of floods, etc

  • @4bbc All baba charity with western dollars to cover up his crimes

  • @DupersFucker

In addition to His ashrams, Sai Baba runs a vast network of charitable organizations, including two of the finest hospitals in India, where all services, including open heart surgery, are provided free of charge to all. The hospitals’ success rate is phenomenal. Someone asked Baba, “Why do You build hospitals when you can cure anyone with Your miraculous powers?” He replied, “Yes, I can cure any disease instantly. But for that the person must have total faith in me. "

  • @DupersFucker welcome to Shiva Manas Puja

Shiva is revered as the Form to be adored for the acquisition of Jnaana (Supreme Wisdom). Jnaanam Maheshwaraath lccheth, as the Vedhas advise.(Pray to Shiva for enlightenment, through Wisdom).

  • @4bbc Centuries after centuries you Brahmin Bastards are deceiving the Indian paganistic Soceity with these kinds of intricated philosophies and fuck them nicely. It is called religious exploitation. Your name Venkatraman brings vomit from my belly not bcoz you are Alibaba"s disciple or a Brahmin but becoz I see a kind of obsession in your comments though you are well aware that you write everything against your Vedic principles and Arya Samaj. You will die a horrible death for your hypocrisy.

  • @shivrajvishnu The inner capacity to understand objects is named mind, or Manas.

Naturally, therefore, the Motivator of the entire group of senses must be distinct from the Manas too, is it not? Those who seek to know the Eternal, convinced that all acts and activities are ephemeral, will not worry about the Eternal.

  • @DupersFucker "Chandhrama manaso Jaathah," says the Purusha Shuktha (The mind arose from the moon).

If during Shivaraathri one meditates on God, one can achieve nearness to the Divine. Supreme sacredness of Shivaraathri consists in realising oneness with the Divine through meditation on God.

  • Om Namah Shivaya Thank you for posting this sacred chant~

  • Dear all devot,

I would like to get Lyrics of Shiva Manas Pooja with meaning in hindi or gujarati to print it out, Please help me to find it out. I did search but could not found yet.

    Have a shiv day.

  • india is such a beautiful country

  • Is this a reading from the Vidas?

  • @SeaofSamsara No it is called "The Shiva manasa pooja" composed by Sri Adi Shankaracharya is a unique stotra. It is in the form of a prayer by a devotee who imagines in his mind all the offerings and rituals prescribed in a pooja and offers them to lord Shiva with faith and devotion. This stotra is an eye opener to those who are fanatic about rituals as it clearly shows that faith and intentions are more important!

  • @aurosmi Thankyou for your response. Very much appreciated.

  • This is one the most wonderful things I have ever heard. The feeling I get from it is indescribable. Thank you for sharing it.

  • Very well thought prayers I like the last stanza ( starting from 4.29) ! Just want to share its meaning, it is as below.

The crimes ( sins) committed by hands or legs or the actions /deeds /KARMA.

The sins caused by ears or eyes or the mind , knowingly or unknowingly. Please lord forgive all of those, cause you are the ocean of the mercy ,O MAHADEV SHIV SHAMBHU !

  • Useless, meaningless arguments you have. Just be.

  • I was looking for this for a long time.........thank you for uploading it

  • Please stop arguing. This is a divine hymn to lord shiva singing the glorious aspects of god. Although shiva is without attributes he is accredited with these divine chants because he is ALL encompasing. Aum Namah Shivaya.

  • would someone write down the Sanscrit and the English Translation of this divine, celestial , magic chant. I am so sorry that I do not understand sanscrit !

  • @oscardperez

If you Google Shiva Manasa Puja, you can find some transliterated versions with translations; perhaps you already have. Yes, this is a most wonderful chant and I usually play it most mornings. Originally I learned it in a different melody, but I like this one better. <3

  • @cantplaythis Om Namaha Shivaya I too play this chant in the mornings I try to everyday a great way to starts one's day with the blessings and positive energy

  • Ok, I believe this is a song and not a chant, more like a hym as Catholics use to sing when I was a child at church. This is my ring tone...

  • speechless!!!!

  • i love this version. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • adbhut

  • yeah um er i was thinging more free! im hella poor

  • Does anyone have a mp3 of this they care to share?

  • @Dannii669 you can download this from itunes.

Art of Living - Shiva manas puja .

  • The first time I heard this chant a gentile movement of the kundalini occurred in my spine while both of my hand spontaneously joined in to Namaste and I burst into blissful laughter and lost consciousness – a very light Samadhi

  • Fantastic. Very Relaxing.

  • aum

  • no words to describe the beauty of this mantra, the music and the voice of the singer!

    aum namah shivaya

  • Om Namah shivay...thanks a billion adjna...doing great job.....

  • can someone translate what is being sung...or the jist of it thank you xx

  • Buenisima musica!!!

  • ♥ Jay ♥

  • Beautiful chant and accompaning music.......Swami TantraG

  • meraviglioso

  • This is such a beautiful rendering of the stotra. I can't believe people write a bunch of nonsense while listening to this.

  • @dravidianwolf Thank you DW. Unfortunately we Hindus like pride in our faith, well some Hindus see their darker color and think that it is inferior, that's how we get this silly billywood-reflected glory. If the Buddha had been born in Europe or muslim lands, he would have been branded a heretic & put to death! There would be no Buddhism today! No Sikhism, Jainism, Zoarashtrism either!

  • The mind is much more powerful than I thought .... the way we see the world is completely filtered through the emotional trauma and karma. Our goal in this world is to see the difficulties and overcomes them with full consciousness. The perception must always be in connection with intuition. The world is an energy flow ... good and evil are just forces of human nature. Find your way and be the best ... hug to all

  • Amazing to fall into.

    Spread the love!

  • nama om vishnu padaya, krishna prestaya, butale, srimate, baktevidanta swami iti namine

  • keep ya head up high !

    OhM

    peace ......

  • keep the head down worshipping the one that makes you breathe and everything will be ok.

raise it high thinking that you are sb and it will be cut instantly

this is especially for the Mental ones

  • Worshiping the one that makes you breathe is worshiping the self, for all is one unit; humming and existing on this single sound. Worship no god, for you are just a equal as any god. we thrive and pulse on the same wave length. We are our god as our god is us.

  • БОЖЕСТВЕННО....

  • Marvellous ! This is the worship of All prevading, eternal (anidashiva) with mind. Offering of one's everything associated with the body using Mind(Manas) to Shiva. In this prayer things of the body are offered like flowers to a Deity. So know the meaning and be 100pc blessed. Best time early morning ... OM Namah Shivai...

  • om namassivaya !

  • From the album

    Sacred Chants of Shiva

Craig Pruess and the Singers of the Art of Living

  • Very Beautiful meaningful prayers with total original dedicated

  • SHIVA is all and everything! He's kind and the best father I'll know. Don't try to upset him! I belong to him since 12 years and my love to him becomes stronger day by day. Thanks for the nice mantra! May Shiva blesses you every day! OM namah Shivay...Jai Mahadeva...Jai Parameshwara!

  • I LOVE YOU

  • Emotional outbursts are nonsense. So some Indians are evil, what does that have to do with my post. How much help did Hitler get from christians whose hatred of jews was nurtured by the church? How about a church who hid pedophiles? there is eveil all over the world, again what does that have to do with a evil concept?

You welcome to a Saddam God - keep belieiving in a god who tortures - kindly let us also have the same freedom to not to believe in a god who employs torture methods.

  • Hell is a vile, abusive, disgusting concept. God buys love & loyalty with the threat of torture? A Gandhi, Teresa, Mandela would never think of torturing their enemies, whereas a Saddam, Hitler, Stalin would. This is the company that God keeps?

Karma & Rebirth is the better way, the non-violent way. You are not punished, nor are you simply forgiven because you begged enough. You are held accountable for your actions, You are reborn, given another chance to make amends.

  • @ramaraksha01 what's more evil, the man who outright acts and does against society, or he who turns his back on someone he lauds as great, and only chooses to respect parts of what he said, such as Gandhi and how he said the Untouchable class must be liberated in india? He was quite explicit on this detail. So how arent the indian people more evil than those tyrants, seeing as they abuse the name of Gandhi on a daily basis.

    Save us your self-righteous babble.

  • @ramaraksha01 Excellent point brother!

    JAI HIND!

  • @ramaraksha01 don't talk about things you obviously know little about...

  • @BadBlueBoy213 Obviously you don't believe in democracy - or do my words bother your conscience? If you want to hear only words that agree with your views then maybe you should never get on the internet - why not move to country like china or north korea? people like u make me sick.

  • @ramaraksha01 wow you're making up a lot of bullshit from one single line of mine, talking about democracy, and then... NORTH KOREA xD pff comon. Isn't that worrying? This should actually bother YOUR conscience, not mine.

I was referring to the Christian theology and i still have no clue why you started with political views which nobody talked about.

  • @ramaraksha01 thats touching and so true

  • Precioso;escuchandolo siente uno la presencia de Dios

  • The Lord is so full of mercy , He even accepts food offerings and Aarti performed in the mind.

    Har Har Mahadev !

    Jai Shree Krishna

  • Beatiful!!Namaste.

  • really nice . it got me to higher planes.

  • Please watch my recent video chandrashekharashtakam. I have sang it in my own voice.

  • This sacred chant will always remind me of Rishikesh India watching the Ganga flow by having chai at the Devaraj cafe. It permeates my cells from within and without with bliss. It's essence is that of Love.

    Hari Aum Tat Sat

  • Om Namah Shivaya.......

  • I remixed this track, uploading a video now!

I am strangely attracted lately to Hinduism and Holy sound, So I made my own personal interpretation of this song!

I hope it isnt offensive, all the best intentions!

    AUM!

  • curious to hear your remix, where is it ?

  • at my channel! =) You'll see a pink/yellow kaleidoscope.

  • yes i saw it and heard it, I was having the same idea some time ago. I play goa trance for 16 years now.

WHat synth you use in the number, sometimes I hear a typical goa sound.

Anyway it sounds good, very spacie,

  • Ah that sound i made with a VST plug-in called Circle VST!

And i used some echo and effects on it!

Thanks for the comment , means alot mate!

  • cool!

  • Totally and utterly "favourited"

  • VERY NICE !!!!!!!

  • VERY GOOD!!!

  • I see moon & sun & bow & arrow!?

  • it's great for ambiental musical background of a movie, for i.e. expressing some deep emotions and creativelly present them on film...

  • The symbol is AUM. represented by the symbol in the video. it actually is the divine vibration that is refered to as AUM, AMIN, AMEN, etc. it is the sound you hear in deep contemplative silence. it is the supreme grace light it self. Love, Light, Peace, Aum Shanti.

  • This isnt a song, you cant simply play this anywhere at anytime you want. Its a sacred and pure sound, chanted with the heart and with the most lightfull intentions.

  • Can anyone please let me know where can I find the lyrics in Kannada?

  • why would you need it?

  • Beautiful journey through the mountain of Shiva.

    thank you

  • google for Shiv Manas Pooja Lyrics and you will have it...

  • Magnificent Vocals!

Does anyone know what that beautiful instrument playing in the background?

(It almost sounds like a sitar played with a bow- pure, continuous sound.)

  • Its actually a south indian instrument called "Veena", which pretty much functions like a Sitar. As far as I remember, the singer's name is Bhanu. To adjna, thanks a million for uploading this. Been looking for it everywhere. Keep the good times rollin' :)

  • Me thinks the name of Singer is Urmila Devi Goenka...but not sure as they both have lent voice to this album called Sacred Chants of Shiva

  • Thanx, bro :) I'm not too sure abt the singer myself. Thanx 4 clearing it up. Peace :)

  • Thank you, Howler. :)

  • it is NOT a Veena; it is a Tampura, an accompanying instrument to set the scale in Carnatic music.

  • Thanx for clearing it up, dude :) I'm not into Carnatic music and hence, thought the instrument was veena. Thanx for the info.

    Peace :)

  • I love Graig Pruess!!! : )

Can everybody write down the song's text? :)
