@Soundofstereos they will lag with that chipset. Cod 4 requires FPS tweaks and SC 2 doesn't have any and it requires alot from your computer especially the multiplayer

I really dont know about you all, but i will never pay $60 for a computer game, and I am never going to. I downloaded the most recent nulled full version plus the MapPack from mw2forfreeXinfo (replace X with . ) and it ran flawlessly . Believe me, even though it really is a Superb online game, its not worth $60 when you can get it for free.

css is a bad example since source games rely on CPU more than GPU...I have a 2,0Ghz dual core processor and x3100 and it lags on several places.

I don't think that your CS is on "all highest" settings, as the characters' shadows are not full, but merely the "blob" shadow. Or maybe it's just my eyes :D

It's obviously his CPU. See, the x3100 actually is able to run most games. Call of duty 4 runs just fine when looking at the graphics hardware. But in the end, it's your CPU that decides if you can play it. I have a Pentium Dual Core @ 1.89 GHz and can play COD4 on indoor maps whithout lag, but outside it's a nightmare.

So if you have the X3100, and a processor under 2.0GHz, I recommend to look for a better one. Then most games will work pretty well.

You'll also have to download the newest X3100 drivers which'll enable pixel shader, vertex shader and hardware transition & lighting. This is vital for playing any newer games, and improves you X3100's performmance

download the newes driver for you X3100, Those will enable vertex- and pixel shader, and hardware transition / lightning

Just go to intel's homepage and browse for it there. Remember, though you have the newest drivers which'll enable all the styff mentioned above, it still depends on your CPU. If you have under 2.0GHz dual core you can just forget it...

I have not overclocked anything. Thats almost near to impossible with a laptop.

I have only upgraded my ram from 2 gb to 3 gb. And have changed my cpu. It was a 1.86 GHz before with 667MHz fsb. I have changed it to 2.40 GHz wiht 800 MHz fbs.

Try to find out if you can upgrade yours.

But the santa rosa refresh platform will take 800 MHz as a maximum. So when I upgrade my notebook, it directly detected the 800 MHz fsb. Search something on google for the santa rosa REFRESH platform.

Fraps. Use it. It isn't that expensive. Too many on youtube record their pcs with a camera, and that needs to stop.

Impressive demonstration, but that doesn't change the fact that you are pointing a camera at the screen. Good job keeping the camera steady and in focus, which most kids recording their laptops don't do, but there is no need to use a camera at all.

Also, what is with the 4:3 aspect ratio? Why are the edges rounded like an old CRT? Is this really from a laptop?

Sure it is from my laptop. Sometimes I have to change the screen resolution to make it play faster.

And filming with my camera is because it doesn't affect the fps in-game. I will be using a better camera later with display focus.

cool dude, but with fallout i've tried everything and does crash, even without heads, i have a toshiba satellite L 300 with: Intel Centrinio dual core 1.86Ghz, 2Gb of ram samsung, 250 Gb western digital hdd, & windows 7 Utimate 32-bit(6.1, Build 7260) and the best solution is to buy a new Desktop 8-> god knows when, now i'm stuck with this laptop...
