  • This is one sturdy little firearm! I have a pocket holster, a necklace holster, and a side waistband holster and all work well. Many people don't understand that this is a .22 MAGNUM and not a .22LR (although that cylinder is available). A .22LR can kill someone and believe me, you don't want to get hit with a .22 magnum! Powerful little round. The only thing I don't like is how you have to reload. NAA came out with a better system that breaks open and ejects the rounds. Easy to load.

  • What is the weight diff between the two?

  • a .22 caliber round might just piss someone off if you shoot them with it

  • @vang3109 ive invited several people that claim they are so tough, like you to step in front of one of 3 of my 22lr.none of them have accepted,i wonder why?do you want to step in front of one of millions of 22?no,you dont...a 22 has the power to enter the skull, but not exit it.that means the 22 bounces in the skull, tearing flesh to pieces and KILLING.a 22 in back of head is classic mafia hit.learn facts before you post stuff like that.

  • SLOW DOWN!

  • Does anyone know how the Pug compares to the NAA Black Widow in terms of size and function?

  • the magnum can shoot longs ....maybe u said that

  • @hwninja92

you have to get a different cylinder though.

  • My only problem with a gun like this is an assailant may not take a gun like this seriously compared to a larger looking weapon. You want to avoid shooting someone as often as possible, and if an attacker believes this to be a toy or insignificantly small you would have to shoot him to stop him, where a larger size pistol might deter him simply through brandishing. Surely better than nothing but I wish they made them look more serious somehow.

  • I have XS Big Dot night sights on all my carry guns, best combat sights around IMHO.

  • i can never use that to defend my life.

  • @SuperRip7 I disagree. The mafia's been double tapping people with .22s for decades. Don't judge the size of the shell. It's the skill of the marksman and the build of the gun.

  • How many rounds did you put through the gun you were replacing?

Are they stout enough to shoot a few rounds once a month?

  • @ToXicU4ia

yes, we shot that one a lot more than that

  • Do you need alicense to own this in NY?

  • @beliefstoppers no you do not need a license to own one in ny as long as your 21 and dont have any feliones you can just buy one outside and bring it in just dont carry it thats when you do need one and you cant get one in that state

  • Its ah very grippy

  • On these small .22's having sights are useless. I'ts not going to make the gun any more accurate as there is no barrel and it's a point and shoot gun where you don't need sights.

  • Wouldn't one of those loaded with high powered long rifle rounds be murder on your hands when shot? (Major recoil)

  • @supersonicbros23

Naw, not too bad at all

  • do u need a license for this?

  • @thelockkk

    nope

  • @GunWebsites wait, so you don't need a gun license to purchase these guns?

  • @planesoverlames

we don't have 'gun licences' so, no

  • it would be so kick butt if they scaled this pistol up to accept a .30 carbine bullet it could still be small but it would have some balls they could call it the pit bull hell i'd buy one

  • whats up with the naa wasp .22? it looks cool..

  • @nikolasjames48 - I have one, shot about 200 rounds through it so far. I think it's one of the best looking revolvers ever built, and it's durable as hell. Only problem I have had is that out of 100 Magnum rounds, 2 didn't fire on the first hammer strike. That hollowed out hammer might be to light? But it's still my daily carry gun, and I trust it more then any mini auto I own. If you can find it, get the one with the Mag and LR cylinders, cheaper to shoot and LR is more accurate.

  • can the boot grips naa sells be put on the pug?

  • @paulchristopher23

I haven't tried, but I am almost positive I have seen a PUG with them on

  • It's a neat little gun. Single action in your pocket with no safety is kind of freaky though. Does it come with a little hammer strap holster as an option?

As for small caliber fire arms it's foolish would disregard. I got shot at with a tiny ball bearing from a sling shot once. I don't want anything perforating me!

  • I've owned a NAA 22LR for years and recently purchased the Pug.

It's just as easy to pocket carry, but the main reason I 'moved up' to the Pug is the difference in ballistics between the 22LR and the 22 Magnum rounds.

Let's face it. We all carry concealed with the hopes that we never have to draw our weapon. But should that time come, the difference in the two rounds is huge with regards to stopping your adversary.

I recommend the Pug to anyone who wants or needs a small caliber back up gun.

  • how much do these usually go for?

  • It's hard to take guns that small seriously.

  • @jagow100

    that would be unwise IMO

  • this is the gun i used when i was a prostitute... lmao

  • I came here looking for a pug. A pug that breathes and moves. Close enough.

  • I had one and i considered it unsafe especially when trying to place it in the notch when loaded.

It made me nervous and i got rid of it.

  • Would you say this is better for concealment or a keltec .32?

  • @34601k

not better or worse IMO, just different

  • This is a great little revolver. I highly recommend the Mini Master Grip for it. Accuracy will greatly improve with better purchase on the handle.I just recently sold mine, It was great, but I didn't fancy the sight picture after shooting it. and the spread was too large with shotshells. keep in mind this was my small trail gun for snakes and what not. I might go with the black widow or earl revolver.

  • magnum's are powerful and if you didnt know that then your a retard :)

  • Man that thing looks sweet! I gotta get me one of those cases...very handy.

  • Nice little pocket revolver.

  • looks like it wud be very good for close quarter assaisnations lol :/

  • mini night sights....slick.......

I have the base model,I am considering making it into a keychain :)

  • does the 22 short come in that same case or one like that

  • so you carry this as a back up right? What is it backing up?

  • when you are in between the rounds in the "safety notch", you pull the hammer back and it will line up on a bullet right?

  • oh wow!!!! its so tiny!!!!

  • Why couldn't you shoot 22LR in the 22Mag cylinder?

  • @jetpowered1

Can I fire .22 Shorts in a .22 LR cylinder?

Yes, Shorts can be fired in a Long Rifle cylinder; the case diameter of the two are identical.

Can I fire .22 Shorts/.22 LR in a Magnum cylinder?

No! WMR (Magnum) cartridges have an incrementally larger diameter (despite firing an identically sized bullet; don't ask me why).

  • How much do they cost on average?

  • so you got one finally , lucky dog!

  • Comment removed

  • I always considered them cute and cool. But oh that single action..

Can you see yourself in a life/death situation fumbling with that tiny hammer?

a DA would have been perfect!

  • Love it. You will love that my friend. Can't wait for your test videos on it. 5*s

  • How much do they get for one of those?

  • Cool little piece. The sights actually look functional. How much does it weigh? Also can you give us an idea of cost?

  • nice gun

  • Very nice, like this little revolver. Hate the take down on both, but that's just me. The safety notching is a nice touch as is the glow sighting. Got me ready to buy! LOL!

  • PUG!!

  • This is on my wish list!

  • it looks unhandy to reload! taking out the locking rod, taking out the cylinder, loading the cylider, holding the cylinder back in place, locking the rod back into place.... how long does it averagly take?

  • @mweymiller142 It's a last resort revolver, if you need more than 5 shots, you're dead.

  • @mweymiller142

it takes time.. but like skeebert said.. this is a last option, not intended to be reloaded under stress

But they are small enough, just carry two !!

  • @GunWebsites I carry 15

  • .22 Keychains FTW !

  • 22mag would be a handful in this little gun

  • i saw these at my local big boy store. 2200.00. just the one your showing us. Id rather carry a rifle over my shoulder,....

  • @drivepro what do you mean by 2200.00? this was $250 when my wife got it for me six months ago.

  • @maltieskitten there is a possiability that i misread that pricetag......

  • @drivepro lol, thats cool.

  • They have so many different versions of this revolver. They even have a black powder version. Great little revolver for fun at the range, and good weapon when you have no more then a coin pocket worth of space for your weapon.

  • this is for shooting some canns or its good 4 selfdefece ?

  • @iva666 Someone here on YouTube described an NAA .22 as a 'Git er off me' gun - one that could possibly deter, but not going to do much damage usually. Shot placement would be crucial.

  • that no hammer on bullet makes it better

  • Only way I would use something like this is if I had 5 or six of them.

  • I own a NAA 22 Mag ,it was handed down to me .........Its the most useless gun I have ever shot and its more of a novelty than anything else,i think I am going to make mine into a Keychain

  • @excelerater Keychain, lol. That is an interesting idea. These may not be the best weapons in the world, but they offer 5 round in an extreamly small package, and I would defently not want to be shot by one.

  • one of each please

  • cute.

  • guess what you have 2weapons in 1 the pocket gun and the new grip lock rod, nice when there in the ground and stab them with it

  • That box is more than adequate for that mousegun.

I've been thinking of buying one of those, just for fun. How do they handle?

  • Neat little guns.

Im always curious to know if people buy derringers for CCW or just as a collecting piece.Maybe both for some people.

  • Can you do akimbo with it?

  • ★★★★★

  • That's pretty cool: a derringer with a big dot night sight.

  • I've always wondered from a CHL standpoint... which is more lethal 22 mag or .380 rounds? Velocity vs bullet weight I guess...

  • @JWTraynham1 I want to know the answer too, but I will never be able to get this type of guns in Canada anyways LOL

  • I'm wanting one of those!! :)*****

  • i love the hell out of mine.

  • i love the new modern look on the pug, the older one was retro looking but i love the pug

  • love the improvements they did.

  • which ones better this or a derringer

  • @atreyuthegreat

    IMO = this

  • @GunWebsites is this illegal to sell or buy because its so conceallable.

  • @GunWebsites

how do you know all this stuff on guns.

  • @atreyuthegreat I second his opinion. These revolvers offer 3 more rounds then most derringers at about the same size and weight. Most derringers funtion about the same way as well, and feel similar to these in handleing (which is not great, but better then nothing).

  • Tiny little shit isn't it.

  • @OMGWTFMUFFINS tiny little shit that can kill you with one pull of a trigger

  • @tekkenguy9595 Indeed it can. haha
